Appliances old and cheap. When your appliances break down you get more junk.
Do not move in! The people in the office don't care! The lease had to be fixed three times and they still have my birthday wrong. How do you get it wrong when you have a copy of my Id! They tell you to deal with it and that their are just old buildings. Apparently remodeling is not in their vocabulary. The ceiling has areas that dip downwards where anyone can tell it needs repair. Even the balcony has dips in it!!! I can tell where the people upstairs are walking to and what room they came out off. There is only one wall in the entire apartment that is painted darker than the rest, and really throws you off. The gas bill is outrageous because of there old appliances. And when they "fix the appliances" they just bring in old appliances from another apartment. To turn on my oven I had to turn on the front burner with the oven in the off position and then turn it on broil first! Wasted to much money on food being wasted because the food in the oven, that I thought was on, wasn't. The stove even has a lock on it! Is this the 80s? My car has been vandalized twice since moving in. I didn't even have to worry about that on walnut and cheyenne! They also should give me back my $200 cleaning fee because I had to clean the Damn apartment after I moved in. The landlord does not care about his property and is probably keeping all the profit for them self. Thank god we signed the shortest lease possible. Beware.
TERRIBLE choice! If you are looking for a realiable, quiet, protected place to live THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. They had said they have security, but DO NOT. Starting with moving in, Cathy had showed us an upstairs apartment prior to moving in, Then when it came time to move she gave us a downstairs. WHICH IS HORRIBLE. I can hear my neighbors use the restroom & even snore. The walls & my ceiling/the upstairs floor is EXTREMELY weak. I hear creaks & can literally tell you what room they are walking into or out of. Not only is their apartments old, but they have roach & spider problems. I'm outside as we speak having to spray my own apartment because they don't. AND IM PREGNANT. I don't think it's right. When we had asked the office if they can do anything about the noise upstairs, they had asked if we wanted to move up there. HELLO! Pregnant! I can't just move a whole house upstairs just you don't have to do anything. Not only do they have no respect for us as tenants, but no respect for us as people either. My husband gets one day off a week, & on that one day they ALWAYS are doing work upstairs at 7 in the MORNING. EVEN THOUGH WE HAD LET THEM KNOW. The children of these apartments have no respect. They play in the streets, bouncing balls & have actually hit my car TWICE. Office does NOTHING about it. Another thing, when ANY appliances break they do not replace or fix, & (it always takes them longer than a day to get back to you. Even though the guys that fix the stuff are outside SWEEPING.) They bring in another old appliance & swap them out. CHEAP SKATES! It seems to me they are all about appearances & not about quality. PLEASE HEED MY WARNING, & DO NOT MOVE HERE. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE, TIME & MONEY. Last but not least, they charge a $200 "cleaning fee" & my apartment was still FILTHY. Black rings in the toilet, & food stuck to the tile. I only wish I had taken pictures so I could show the world. My husband & I moved from North Las Vegas to Henderson & we are disappointed. We had paid $685 for THREE bedrooms, & even though it was in the ghetto we were treated with respect & always were accommodated. So it is very saddening to pay $800 a month for two bedrooms & get no sleep. Never will I EVER move into an apartment without reading reviews again.
Tenant be aware! Unfortunately, the landlord does not honor his end of the bargain by performing adequate repair and remodeling of the interior of the units. I and other tenants share a serious problem with loose floor boards that chirp violently with the slightest amount of pressure. Surely, the exterior of the complex is well-maintained to draw in prospective tenants. Unfortunately however, the interior of the units are in need of serious updating and repair; something you will not find out about untill you move in. The interior has not been remodeled in years. Materials are rotting, decaying and breaking constantly. Even though the staff is very good at taking care of minor repairs in a timely fasion, when it comes to more costly ones, they will tell you to "deal with it" and that "The buildings are old." I have not had a peaceful night of sleep both due to airconditioning noise & floor boards of the upper unit since I moved in. Additionally, the cleaning staff does a horrific job. Be prepared to do your own cleaning before you move in. I found hundereds of hair strands inside the fridge! This could have only been possible with using dirty towels to clean. I could really go on with further dissapointments, but you should have a good enough idea by now.
