Highest price around for outdated units, Office staff goes from bad to worse each time they change, No place for small kids at all there is nothing for them. With your rent you have to pay 130.00 for water, 30-35 dollars for pet fee so by the time you pay the water rent and pet fee you pay over 1000.00 for a 2 bedroom unit. The kitchen is tiny, the bathroom fixtures and tiles look like they came from the 80s, Old stoves and fridge, cheap blinds. In winter the master bedrooms are Ice cold even with heat blasting so expect a high gas bill in winter. If there are out of control tenants they ignore the problem so they can keep money flowing in. Forget the parking they purposely don't have enough so you have to walk a mile or rent an overpriced garage. They nickle and dime you, they do not include any utilities but add the huge water bill, If they have a problem with a building that has to do with normal issues that happen like plumbing they try and blame the tenants and charge them for damage. You have to drive your trash to a dumpster up the street. Office staff are rude. when your lease expires expect to pay alot more if you plan to stay. Lots of insects and if your lucky maybe you will get a unit that does not have BEDBUGS which if you bring this to the office attention they do NOTHING. The best part about the whole place is the maintenance men, They truly are the best part of these apartments and even when they are overworked they go out of their way to help. So if you wanna live in a non kid friendly, Outdated, Uninsulated, Have to walk a mile to drop off trash or find a parking spot, OVERPAY while your being treated rudely, and if you like sleeping with bedbugs this may be a place for you.
One they are spacious, plenty of closet space, the office staff is not rude !! I have never ever seen a bed bug and I've lived here almost five years and if you have any little bugs it would be rolly Polly bugs and the pest fee is included in your fees for electric ,water etc.and if you tell them that you have them they will come in and spray .So this is a nice quite community.
The apartments are spacious and feature quite a bit of closet space compared to other places I looked at. Some things have been updated which I would think varies from unit to unit. My specific unit has a new microwave but an older refrigerator and dishwasher. The bathrooms have ceramic tile but they went cheap in the kitchen/laundry and used vinyl. The grounds are nice however you will find trash littered everywhere and sadly, not all of the dog owners pick up after their pets. The pool definitely isn't kept up as it should. It's heavily used and often the water is cloudy and full of hair/dirt/sand. Ultimately, the size of the pool doesn't accommodate the size of the community. Better maintenance would be very beneficial though. Overall, the place is nice but somewhat overpriced. The monthly rent is fair but when you add on the "utility package" that is required on top of the gas/electric you already pay for, it seems high.
At first glance, the apartments are great. I moved into a 2 bed, 2 bath top floor unit last summer after talking them down to $700/month. At 1200 square feet, the space is large and comfortable. The walk-in closets in each of the bedrooms are nice enough, and the unit gets a decent amount of light during the day. I'm not too hard to please, so I will spare the actual review and just write my pros and cons. Pros: *Space *Quiet/Privacy *Inexpensive Base Rent *Great Maintenance Staff *Tucked away location Cons: *Hard to find parking anytime after 9pm *Higher cable bill than most, as you have to pay $40 for basic + HBO, and then extra to Insight for internet/cable. *Awful fitness center *Older style kitchen and appliances *Tucked away location *Not for young, single people Bottom line, if I had to pay the full rental price for the unit, I would have looked elsewhere. Otherwise, for the price it's a great place to live if you seek quiet and privacy.
