I can only give one star because unfortunately I have had bad experiences here. I was late on one payment for rent and they charged me $50 for late fees and when I went to pay the full amount I was told that I'm upto date with payments only to find out that the following month, I was charged $50 again for owing $6 dollars from previous month after being told I was up to date. My electric outlets in the room where blown out and when I left they where still not fixed and to top it off I moved out at the beginning of June 2015 and I was just informed that they have me in credit collects for rent I supposedly owe for June and July and I did not even live there! So my lawyer will be visiting soon since they are trying to commit fraud. After many request, I had to change the light bulb fixture in the kitchen and if that is not bad enough I had my daughters 4H club rabbit stolen from the patio and had to deal with the constant police, helicopters and police dogs around my apartment. The hallway always wreaked of weed and just about every you can hear people yelling and fighting. If you have children stay away unless you don't mind that sort of thing. I did not even get my deposit back and it's been a year. It is unfortunate I had such a bad experience and overpaid for everything. Only positive thing was there was always plenty of parking and no bugs.
These apartments are located on a very busy and noisy street. There is not much of privacy since the balconies/patios facing either to the street or the parking lot. It's a huge apartment complex and there are just 2 washers and dryers on the 2nd floor of each building, which makes it nearly impossible to find any time or day to use them. Most of the tenants do not even care about the rules and dirty/clean laundry stays in the laundry room as well as the washer and dryers for hours. If you remove them since there is a policy you end up with very rude people screaming at you, to a point of threatening you. Lots of tenants smoke marijuana and every time you walk into the hallway or outside on your balcony/patio you get hit by the smell. Tenants store their trash on the balcony/patio's and there's not much done about it. The management will place a note on the door or even flyers explaining the guidelines but nobody actually checks up on it. Lately we having a lot of homeless sleeping in the staircases and hallway, even so it's a gated community, these gates aren't closed since nobody seem to care. The security doesn't do anything about them, and the police department can't be bothered of removing them. This leads in a lot of unnecessary arguments and discussions when tenants leave for work/school. Last summer we had a lot of strangers from nearby apartment complexes down/up the road using our pools. Took them a while to fix that problem, we will see how it goes this upcoming summer. There's a fire department and 7-11 up the road and during weekends, especially in the summer time, you end up with a lot of traffic and cars parking with their loud music and people fighting, arguing and screaming, to the point of having to call the police or ambulance. In general nearly every weekend we witnessing police helicopters and patrols throughout the neighborhood. This is defiantly not an area you want your children to grow up. If you place a maintenance request you might find yourself waiting days/weeks till someone shows up. Most of the maintenance crew doesn't speak english or very broken english. It's a struggle explaining the issue and what repairs need to be done. Most of them show up at 4:45 pm and leave at 5:00 pm, letting you believe they would return the next day, sadly most of the times you have to place a 2nd maintenance request because they forgot to return or marked it as fixed when in reality that isn't the case. Rent goes up by a lot and quite often I must say, that wouldn't be a problem if you don't have to deal with all this none sense. I could go on but I think the picture is pretty much clear by now. Let me summon this up, if you're planning on living in the hood, this is defiantly the place to go. The Management defiantly having a hard time and I will give them credit for trying to be polite and helpful. But sadly in the tenants eye it looks unprofessional, but there's just so much you can do, if you work at a place like this.
love them already and haven't even moved in yet , the staff is enthusiastic and willing to work with you . great customer service and they make you feel comfortable off the bat .
the only reason i gave them a one star is because it didn't give me the option to give NO stars , this complex is being ran by untrained unprofessional females who don't know what they're doing . they took my moms money after she provided them with the documents they asked for , had her under the impression that she would be moving and then told her she cannot get ALL of her money back , laughed in her face as if it was a JOKE and inconvenienced her COMPLETEY definitely wasted my moms time ... not even worth applying for , in a ratchet ass area anyway
This complex used to be wonderful, good community, safe property and helpful staff quick to solve any issues. As of the last two years, things have gone downhill. Not only with the complex but the area in general has gotten worse. It takes a while for maintenance to show up and often they will arrive at an inconvenient time and leave a mess depending on what work needed to be done. I can't speak for the west complex but the east complex reeks of marijuana, there are loud parties and arguments which security does nothing about, the gate is often broken and police or ambulances are a common sight in the parking lot.
