The apartments are spacious and were reasonably priced. 24 Hour fitness center is a nice perk. I only lived there for a short 6 months because my first floor apartment flooded completely inside the apartment. The parking lot is horrible for large amounts of rain. The first rain storm I was mildly concerned about my car. The second rain storm that ruined everything totaled my car. Be aware of where the AC units are in relation to your windows on the first floor - they can be very loud even when the windows are shut. They do accept packages in the office from all carriers so that is a perk that you don't have to worry about packages left at your door. The community itself was quiet and the neighbors were respectful of each other. It was a very nice place to live for the short time I was there before having to move out!
This has been the worst experience that I've had when it comes to renting an apartment. I pay over 800.00 for 600 sq. Feet and all I have to show for it is an apartment where flooding is highly likely, a view of tarps on roofs and a complex who only gives you a 24 hour notice that their coming into your apartment so I have to worry about what's going on when I'm out of town. My girlfriend has been hit on by the construction workers so she's uncomfortable here now and won't come over. Her car and mine were both destroyed by floods that only affected vehicles in this apartment complex. The only sound you'll hear is that of hammering and the bickering of unprofessional construction workers. I can't emphasize how upset I am that I decided to move into green oaks. The view of route 3 is the most pleasant thing about this place...how sad. They should charge 450.00 for the quality and comfort they provide. I tried to hang curtains on my balcony to block out the rude contractors and creeps but received a notice saying that I couldn't so thank you green oaks, for making me feel at home and comfortable. Don't rent here unless you want a headache.
Buy flood insurance cuz this place Flood. Lost my car in the flood. All 300 residents in first floor have to move out bc their apts got flooded. Everyone Who parked in the parking lot got flooded. Every single car .im sure the foundations are all messed up. Bugs and roaches. Late to notify about moving so I had to stay One extra month they charged $950 for one bed room, seriously?? after all the flood and damage that happened. Rip off. Parking is a bloody fight. Used to go to night class and there is no fking parking. Pay for a spot or someone will scratch your car. Mails got messed up so frequent. The mailman just doesnt care. My neighbors always have to brought me my mails cuz they messed up the mails. Water is either extreme Hot or extreme cold while you are showering. Water pressure in the morning is like dog pee :/ roaches and bugs and fleas and I don't even have pets. Hate this place. Good luck moving here.
All they care about is profits for their parent company Bell Partners, Inc. Office staff knows how to stick to their script and that's it. Don't expect any real help from them if you have a problem. Maintenance supervisor is the only one who can make things get done, but first he will try to convince you of why you are wrong. Strongly suggest renting elsewhere. If you are looking at a first floor apartment anywhere in the complex, know it got flooded and that water sat in the apartment for at least 3 days.
I lived here for a year and I don't recommend it. I've had to call maintenance SOO many times for the same problems. They come fast but never seem to fix anything. People can smoke in their apartment, meaning it gets in the vents so all their neighbors smell it. Someone around me is smoking pot, and I was told there is nothing they can do about it. :(
