Ridiculous! These apartments are very far from luxurious. More like a section 8 living community with two rude and arrogant midgets in charge of the leasing and maintenance. The manager can only complain about paint on floors in newer units instead of focusing on the infested, horribly maintained existing ones. This is the most negative staff I have ever lived with and am happy that I found a new home. I feel so sorry for those who have to pick this place as a last resort. Very sad indeed. Needs new management and definitely needs a few maintenance guys who speak even a little English and actually know how to fix things.
Do not recommend. Originally, I signed here due to affordable prices with a reasonable amount of storage space. Since I signed my lease a year ago, I have placed 18 service request for the SAME ISSUES. Maintenance staff has entered my apartment on numerous occasions without announcing themselves and almost every time does not leave notice that they have been there. The front office staff is rude. Ever month you can expect to pay around $60 in additional fees-trash, water, sewage, drainage. Although you can guarantee flooding in the parking lots and most units with any heavy rain. I would recommend paying an additional $100 a month elsewhere to save on the headache and lack of working appliances.
The apartments are spacious and were reasonably priced. 24 Hour fitness center is a nice perk. I only lived there for a short 6 months because my first floor apartment flooded completely inside the apartment. The parking lot is horrible for large amounts of rain. The first rain storm I was mildly concerned about my car. The second rain storm that ruined everything totaled my car. Be aware of where the AC units are in relation to your windows on the first floor - they can be very loud even when the windows are shut. They do accept packages in the office from all carriers so that is a perk that you don't have to worry about packages left at your door. The community itself was quiet and the neighbors were respectful of each other. It was a very nice place to live for the short time I was there before having to move out!
Okay, when a fridge goes, it goes without warning, and the food is a loss. I filed a maintenance request at 7pm. They had a new fridge in my upstairs apartment within 24 hours. This sure helped save my food!
This has been the worst experience that I've had when it comes to renting an apartment. I pay over 800.00 for 600 sq. Feet and all I have to show for it is an apartment where flooding is highly likely, a view of tarps on roofs and a complex who only gives you a 24 hour notice that their coming into your apartment so I have to worry about what's going on when I'm out of town. My girlfriend has been hit on by the construction workers so she's uncomfortable here now and won't come over. Her car and mine were both destroyed by floods that only affected vehicles in this apartment complex. The only sound you'll hear is that of hammering and the bickering of unprofessional construction workers. I can't emphasize how upset I am that I decided to move into green oaks. The view of route 3 is the most pleasant thing about this place...how sad. They should charge 450.00 for the quality and comfort they provide. I tried to hang curtains on my balcony to block out the rude contractors and creeps but received a notice saying that I couldn't so thank you green oaks, for making me feel at home and comfortable. Don't rent here unless you want a headache.
