I've lived here for about a year and currently looking for a new place because this place is DISGUSTING! The rent is reasonably priced and the location is great with patco being so close but the management here sucks. I live in the B building, people let their dogs pee on the floors and elevators and never clean it up, the pee will stay there until the next day when maintenance cleans. People will leave trash in front of the trash chute causing massive roaches to roam around the whole floor. I keep my place clean and have never had roaches in my life until Now because other ppl are dirty! There's a man who is a hoarder and never cleans his home or himself and he sits in the lobby everyday and the smell is unbearable im too embarrassed to even invite friends over because the building smells so bad! People smoking in front of the building Every morning when I'm leaving for work, I don't want to walk through a cloud of smoke every morning! someone on our floor had bed bugs and Management felt it was ok to not inform anyone on that floor. They tried to keep a secret and we only found out because exterminators where doing a damn heat treatment to the apt that had the bed bugs. We've had enough and I'm breaking my lease early to get out of this nightmare. I wish someone could have warned me...DO NOT MOVE HERE!
Pros: • Shuttle Service to train station! [nice when it's icey or 95º] • Garbage shutes on every floor • Clean apts with nice layouts, all working appliances • utilities are included with rent • free tennis courts + convenience store on site • great proximity to parks, lakes, recreation • it's not gentrified; some probably wish it was. your call. • keyless entry; well lit entrance area Cons: • No sense of community or events for so many people living together. (this was before FB) • pool and gym are extra $ • no washer / dryer in apt. (probably wasn't built to ever have that; not sure) • some residents seem despondent, lack general courtesy. not everyone, just some.
this place is horrible. smells like animals everywhere and they tow your car and ticket it for giggles. smokers kill u with second hand smoke from the lobbies. its really sad.
I lived in the A building for 6 1/2 months back in 2012. I loved living there. My apartment was nice and any time I had an issue, maintenance took care of it quickly. There were a few issues with the rest of the building, including elevator break downs, but over all it was a nice place to live. The problem came when I got behind on my rent. I was dealing with some issues with loss of income and had explained this to management. I was working on getting a new job when my employer fired me. It took a few months for me to find work, which caused me to become behind on my rent. Once I started working, I let the management office know that I would be able to pay the full amount of rent owed in less than two weeks. Because they had already secured a warrant for removal, they refused to work with us. This was, by far, the worst thing that happened to us there. We loved that apartment and would even consider moving back if we were allowed to.
ok for a single person that works alot, no good for a family.....elevators barely work, roaches, mice, constant construction, no parking, noise, drug dealers and moochers hanging out in lobbys, you cant use change or even dollar bills for laundry, machine only take $5, $10, $20 bills and half the time the machines unbalance and you have to re do the laundry, dryers only dry clothes half way, barely any parking unless you want to pay $50 for the garage...pool and gym amenties are there however you have to pay for them which are a joke anyway....spit, bodily fluid, and garbage on elevators. cleaners come once a day during morning rush and hold elevators....not sure why they cant do this at a more convient time but hey what do i know? basically this place is a nightmare....
