I lived in the A building for 6 1/2 months back in 2012. I loved living there. My apartment was nice and any time I had an issue, maintenance took care of it quickly. There were a few issues with the rest of the building, including elevator break downs, but over all it was a nice place to live. The problem came when I got behind on my rent. I was dealing with some issues with loss of income and had explained this to management. I was working on getting a new job when my employer fired me. It took a few months for me to find work, which caused me to become behind on my rent. Once I started working, I let the management office know that I would be able to pay the full amount of rent owed in less than two weeks. Because they had already secured a warrant for removal, they refused to work with us. This was, by far, the worst thing that happened to us there. We loved that apartment and would even consider moving back if we were allowed to.

ok for a single person that works alot, no good for a family.....elevators barely work, roaches, mice, constant construction, no parking, noise, drug dealers and moochers hanging out in lobbys, you cant use change or even dollar bills for laundry, machine only take $5, $10, $20 bills and half the time the machines unbalance and you have to re do the laundry, dryers only dry clothes half way, barely any parking unless you want to pay $50 for the garage...pool and gym amenties are there however you have to pay for them which are a joke anyway....spit, bodily fluid, and garbage on elevators. cleaners come once a day during morning rush and hold elevators....not sure why they cant do this at a more convient time but hey what do i know? basically this place is a nightmare....

I have found the Greystar Management team to be working very hard to bring this old property up to todays demanding standards. The rents are reasonable. There is a 'house' commuter but that runs Monday-Friday for commuters to the PATCO line. Whenever I have had a problem in my apartment, maintenance has always addressed the issues in a timely fashion. There are dogs living on property, most of the time when a dog piddles it is because it has been doing its best to hold it in for hours while the owner is working. Maintenance can not be on the ready 24/7 for these kind of issues. Perhaps the dog owners should also carry w/them along with poop bags, disinfectant wipes to clean up ASAP. DO NOT BLAME MANAGEMENT. I never hear sounds outside my own apartment. The walls and floors are concrete. The Heights of Collingswood houses 30% of the population of Collingswood. I feel safe and secure living here. I have read other posts, most are sour grapes from folks that have been evicted. Just saying.

If you want cheap, go here. BUT ... the management does not have enough maintenance people on staff, so when your neighbor's dog pees in the elevator, the pee will sit there for a long time. ALSO, they have ripped off ALL of the balconies to rebuild them, and have not reduced the rent. I paid extra to have an apt. with a balcony, but I do not have one now and I won't have one for 2 months at least while they work on them. So why am I paying for a balcony???? DO NOT MOVE HERE.
