Yadira is nice but Tanya is a smart mouth brat, moved me into a apartment smelling like cat piss, laundry rooms always got broken into, and charged 1.75 to wash. Transexual prostitutes everywhere. And there sewer system was not good, septum tanks backed up and came up out in front of our gate. Oh and there's stray cats everywhere, there's an abandoned apartment where cats just live. There were cockroaches and the stuff the guy was spraying didn't seem to help so I had to get roach traps myself to get rid of them. Upon the end of my lease the apartment starting smelling bad because of their sewer system, at times I would hear the neighbors turn on their garbage disposal and there waste would come through my sink. The apartments are really old and not well kept.
terrible place to live, barking dogs, homeless ppl in the neighborhood, along with hookers and drunks
I love this place. I've been here for about a month, after relocating back to Las Vegas from out of state. The staff at the Palms made that transition an incredibly easy process. Tonya was wonderful the one time I spoke to her. Most of my contact was with Yadira, who was absolutely fabulous. I owe them both my thanks. My apartment is a large, two-level apartment with the bedrooms being upstairs. It is more than large enough and I actually took the smaller size. I have a gated patio in the front with an area for planting whatever I may choose (if I ever do). Large patio windows downstairs and large windows upstairs provide me with a lot of natural light, which my last place didn't have. I have never seen any bugs at my place but know they offer a free spraying every Friday, if I should ever encounter any. Overall the apartment is very clean and my carpet is only a few months old. Mostly, I love the location. The strip is just a couple of blocks to the west, and grocery stores are on the corner going the opposite direction. Boulevard Mall and the hospital are both within a mile. There are restaurants for every kind of food imaginable, all within walking distance...Thai, Pinoy, Korean, Mexican, Pizza, and all the usual fast food places. I've saved a fortune on gas and got myself in a little better health just by parking the car and walking. I'll also add that I feel very safe here. I had one person tell me that this is a bad neighborhood, but all I see around here are families, many with small children. I go out for walks all the time at midnight and later and have never had any problem. The last time I lived in Vegas I was in a very expensive gated community and heard gunshots all the time. I've never heard a single one in my time here. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!!
I am a 64 year old woman who, for the 3rd time in a year, found myself in need of a place to live. I searched Las Vegas, Henderson, even Boulder City .... till my eyes were crossed. I kept coming back to The Palms. Yes, it is an older complex, kinda wrinkled around the edges, but then so am I. My townhouse was fixed up beautifully, and I have a fenced in "yard" for my 2 old dogs. I feel wanted, safe, and have already met some of my neighbors. I met The Palms criteria and they met mine. I signed a 1 year lease. The old saying, 3rd time is a charm, works for me.
