I moved in here in feb. Took over the lease & its been one thing after another. I so appreciate all CORPORATE did putting me lease even putting IPL n their name bc my ex screwed me bad. BUT the office people were beyond rude messages not passed on & concerns never addressed. People are gone BUT SAME THING AGAIN. No return calls or follow up. They r somewhat pleasant first couple times, however after they are rude & down right condescending. im far older & neither seem to know job. I was told "u have hot water just no water pressure get over it" office mngr implied & question me as if I was lying!! Seriously? Ive been wo hot water or pressure but a trickle 4x now. For 3-4d ea xI had went 4-5 days wo shower went in office & THEn OFFERED USE OF Model TO SHOWER bc I was off to dr. air conditioning not working that took 2 weeks out freon & I Said THAT WAS ISSUE ALL ALONG. I requested new blind in loft it took 5 mnths. Had closet doors needed hung took 3 1/2 mnths w constant reminding. Access panel cut n living room wall to access pipes for tub still not completed. apt b on 1st floor has standing water & Black mold on floor & walls. that apt has been tore out w new dry wall 3-4x & continues w same issue. hallway smells of sewer most of time & over half time I smell it in my own hallway & in MY 3rd floor APARTMENT. they will have someone clean carpet 1st floor only occasionally stairs but not other 2 floors w horrible spray to attempt to cover it & only makes worse. U can see the black mold stuck n carpet & even on floor entry way so Y Not REPLACE HALL & STAIRWAY Carpet THROUGH OUT THIS BUILDING. I had asked them to look at carpet n my apt but was told " THATS SIMPLY DIRT IF LIKE WE CAN HAVE SOMEONE COME Clean DEODERIZE & ENZYM but i pay" REALLY...SERIOUSLY I kno dirt first off 2nd this carpet in apt hasnt been changed in 2 yrs I assumed lease pd fees & asked about replacing it no response. Only wanted hallway living room & dining room carpet replaced & it shld b. My lease is up for renewal now if they think raising my rent they are NUTS bc that was part of deal when moved n. The new maintenance crew...THEY R GREAT AWSOME POLITE COURTESY & CAN ONLY DO WHAT TOLD TO DO. BUT THY ALWAYS REMEMBER ME & SPEAK WHEN THEY DO SEE ME. this mnth I had pd part rent online rest n money order but realized it was for more than I owed BOTH Office girls acted like had no time or too busy one made comment "we cant do anything but give u a credit" with a hateful condescending tone. Little girl I got kids older than u was a nurse for over 25yrs & cld do ur job blind deaf & half dead & better. i run Into property mgr explain what happened & going to find way to cash or replace money order & she says "well has to b payed by tom or will file eviction".. WTH I was like really as I stand there holding $300+ dnt owe that much & more than half pd on line I hate to say this but...I am wrong color & it is evident to me & many others. They rent out club house however ppl enter thru front door where ALL OUR PERSONAL INFO & KEEyS R KEPT. I Love MY APT Got A GREAT VIEW & BEST Best BUILDING IN WHOLE COMPLEX AS FAR AS NEIGHBORS GO THE SEWER SMELL SUCKS BUT MAYB QUIT WORRYING About NEW CUSHIONS ON Chairs OR PILLOWS & DECOS CRAP N OFFICE & BRAND NEW FURNITURE & FALSE ADVERTISING N Show APT (incedently same building mgr lives in) & TAkE CAREvOF RESIDENTS HERE NOW. ROOFS R lEAKING W MOLD EVIDENT ClEAN UP SEWER ISSUE & GET RiD IF THE RIF RAFT IN APT COMPLEX INSTEAD OF HARRASSING RESIDEMTS WHO BEEN HeRE PAY RENT ON TIME & DNT ALlOW uNRULEY UNCONTROLLLED CHILDREN RUNING FREE & Throwing Trash Over BALCONYS & everywhere BUT DUMPSTER. ALLOWING SMALL CHILDREN TO THROW LG ROCKS AT DUCKS. Seriously....get prioritys straight. Quite giving preferential treatment hire office ppl WHO LIKE & KNOW THEIR job make self available follow up w work orders or work completed & NEVER NEVER imply or questions the word of a tenant who is as old as u are & obviiusly distressed & upset willing to confront the individual & pretty much called a liar.
Honestly would give this 0 stars if it was possible. I was planning on moving in to Mariner's village back in May, i think. The lady was so nice into helping us get in as soon as possible. A few weeks went past, and i lost my job and went back to get my deposit that they promised would be refunded if I chose to not move in. The same lady was there when i went back that day, first of all it was like she was a whole different person. She was so rude and almost pissed that i didn't tell them "sooner" that I wasn't going to move in. It wasn't my fault that I lost my job and almost felt she was trying to force the apartment on to me, (not sure if they get a bonus from helping someone move in?) Anyways, I told the lady I would like my deposit refunded and she told me to come back and pick it up in 2-3 weeks. 3 weeks went passed, and she never even had the deposit mailed back. I talked to a different lady, who seemed nicer and she told me she would call the next day to let me know about the deposit. It's been 2 months since my first visit to get my deposit back and NOBODY is contacting me back or making ANY effort to help me. I feel like because I'm young they feel they can take advantage of me and steal my money. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The costumer service alone when I went back made me GLAD that I lost my job and couldn't live there. I'm having my mom call and try to talk some sense into them about giving me my deposit back, and if I'm ignored again I'm not afraid to call the authorities.
Very sad to say this place is getting worse by the moment,Nothing gets done,promises made aren't kept,The kids have nothing to do around here,It's pet friendly though,They have a dog park!!> but nothing for the kids so they play in and scream in the hallways and hangout in the parking lots around the cars,People around here are crazy!!! At this point i wouldn't be able to recommend this place to anyone,I'm so discouraged at this point I think I'm going to have to move...It's a very sad community at this point,A lot of break ins,and high crime!!!!!!
Awful. During the winter, I stepped outside with my husband to keep him company while he smoked a cigarette. When we shut the patio door, it locked us out. We are now stuck on the third floor balcony and it starts to snow. Also, I'm 30 weeks pregnant. Our front door is locked and Our phones are inside charging. So my husband climbs down to use our neighbor's phone to call the maintenance man on call to come unlock the door and get me out of the snow. They said, "That is not an emergency. There isn't anything we can do about it." So my husband kicked the door in a fixed it.
Communication, management, and maintenance are completely awful. They are lazy, rude and unproperly trained it appears. I would not recommend wasting even a second of your time to call this community let alone visit in hopes of leasing a happy well maintained home. This is a poor excuse for an apartment community all around!
