I like this place because it is centrally located to evetything I need. However, my lease was coming up and I was under the assumption my rent would continue to be the same rate. You must give them a 60 day notice which I dont have an issue with. However, when I went in to sign my lease, the 8 weeks free prorated rent amount no longer existed and had to pay what was $850(with the 8 weeks protated) a month for the smaller 2bd/2bth to paying almost $1000.00 a month for rent alone. Of course I wasnt too thrilled about the new rent amount, so I didnt want to sign the lease, so I went on to tell them I would rather move and could move out in 2 weeks. I was informed I would have to pay market price rent which was almost $1100 a month which would be prorated for 15 days. When I was looking at the lease I seen an additional charge of $25 a month for some valet trash which I dont use at ALL. I work nights, So leaving the trash out isnt a problem but when I get off during rush hour morning traffic theres already a fine on my front door for leaving the trash bin outside. Not to mention I have the weekends off when I do ALL of my cleaning, so I end up taking the trash out myself because VALET trash pickup doesnt pick up during the weekend. Maintenance guys are all nice and friendly. I stayed out of Scottadale because of the snotty girls that work in Mark Taylor, but living in San Palmilla..thats exactly what you get--stuck up, rude, snotty and unattentive front office staff.
