There are many unaddressed comfort and safety issues that should give you serious pause if considering moving in here. 1) Management does not take noise complaints seriously: We lived here for 4 years and worked continually to have a serious noise issue resolved. Through reports to office, letters to both the office and the management company, and numerous calls the police we never saw any resolution or serious attempt at correcting the issue. 2) Unsafe winter sidewalks: We constantly had a sheet of ice on the steps leaving the apartment building. It was very slick and very unsafe. Managements answer was to place a bucket of salt by it so the residents could salt the ice ourselves. This bucket was rarely filled and typically empty. 3) Exposed electrical: For many months before our departure an electrical box dangled on the side of the building from exposed wires that the box was supposed to contain. Having done a drive by the old place a month ago, I can tell you this issue is still unresolved. There are many better maintained apartments with better amenities available in same area for similar money. I would recommend any of them over Westfield Club
This place wasn't bad... Short version - VERY average for the area, not a good value for the money, and prone to "market conditions" price hikes. Maintenance seems understaffed, requests WILL get lost often, however they will always greet you with a smile! In 2012-2013 they replaced all the management and maintenance staff. The new staff is all smiles, no help. Simple maintenance requests would take 2 weeks, and getting a timely call back became a serious challenge - I had to report the same issue 3 times in a two week period, and every time it was as I did not come report the same thing 3 days ago! The only amenities worth mentioning are the in-unit washer and drier - but in this price range that's expected. The pool and "fitness center" are not worth mentioning - the pool is small, and "artistically" shaped - looks good in photos, can't actually swim in it - great for kids hanging out. The "fitness center" is a joke - it's so tiny that you can hardly open the door without hitting one of the machines. The only other amenity is the kids running around - not necessarily bad, however they do get loud and there are lots of them, and they bring their friends over too! And my FAVORITE part - after the management change, they hit me with somewhere in the range of 15% annual price hike - due to "market conditions", they also removed the convenient drop box for rent, making you register online - exactly what i needed - another poorly designed site to keep my banking info!
Newer staff is great. This was my first apartment and I never had the " wish I -" feeling. I don't like that Concord management is making the prop. conventional to attract better residents. Very nice nabes. The ONLY thing I didn't like was the bumpy drive and deteriorating, oily pkl.- but c'mon, it's a pkl. You probably won't mind this, I just had car maintenance often. They actually just patched many of the problem areas. I only needed one maintenance call and they quieted my washer a day later. SG
