I have lived at Coventry Park for five years. It has been a great experience. My family has always felt at home and safe here. The office staff is helpful and the maintenance people are quick to fix things. The grounds are very nice. The townhouse itself has everything you need. I will not be moving any time soon. I would highly recommend living here.
The Units are very nice and the price is pretty affordable comparing to the area but their office team are not professional at all. They are not helpful and for everything that is wrong with your unit you got to take care of it yourself. Overall it doesn't make you feel "home".
Coventry Park apartments have the worst parking available for its people. During the day it looks like there is so many parking available but in reality its not. Once you come home after about 9:00 PM its practically impossible to find available parking you can park at. Might as well go across the street to Winco and park at its premises. Managements says that you can park your car anywhere wherever you can find parking. The problem is- people are supposed to park their cars in the garage and not use the garage for storage. Well, no one follows that rule over here. Once in a while management announces garage inspections. Next thing you know, there are people at 6:00 AM in the morning cleaning out their garages filled with boxes, mattresses, and other crap so they don't get caught misusing the garage premises. Management is also very proud of its upscale living, security patrol, and surveillance cameras around the property. I live in these apartments for about 1.5 years and my car got broken in two twice already. First time when my car got broken into, the gates were broken and fully open ( it happens a lot here btw- & anyone who lives here can prove that ) so anyone can walk in here and steal anything they want here. Also, management didn't have cameras on that side where my car was parked (which is the side where i live at ). They state their security patrols here. Ya right, i only see the security at about 11:00 PM when they come to close the Pool area and that's it! I wake up at different times to work and never saw security patrolling in the middle of the night! Also, they are not responsible for your car if someone has broken in to. Called corporate office in San Diego, they Don't care either. Cant help. Today, exactly about 1 year passed since the last theft, someone broke my window again and stole valuable items, which were not visible, hided in the trunk. Complained to the management, ( of course this time w angry tone), and they don't care! We are sorry this happened but were not responsible for any theft. I requested to review security cameras, this time they also said they didn't have cameras installed on that side of apartments. It makes me wonder then- where do they install the cameras? In the managers office? I was parked on the opposite side than the last time. Manager was rude and not helpful. Talked to me with high tone. Manager pulled out her theft/ claim book and there was so many other cars that were broken in to including pictures. Whats the point of their security patrol if they don't catch any crime happening here?. Bottom line, this property has HIGH THEFT percentage. Management is not responsible for anything that happens here, no security cameras installed, only wherever they feel like it should be. Please note: I have good insurance, the problem is you pay so much to live in the upscale living, and you get crappy service!
When I moved out, they provided me a bill for the cleaning. I paid the bill as they requested even though I didn't necessary agree with it. Then I come to find out one month after moving and paying the bill, they had sent me to collections. The collection company received the notification even before I had moved out. How they could do that before they saw the apartment and determined what needed to be done is puzzling. I also have proof they cashed one week after I moved out and they still sent me to collections. I think someone should be fired for the stress they cause by having collections call, especially when they have cashed the payment.
I currently live at coventry park in a one bedroom and for some reason I didn't experience anything near what UPCHUCK & SHUDDER describes. Actually, it sounds like something someone from management at a competing apartment complex would say...... I've lived here for almost a year and i love the complex and the apartment, the only thing that i can say negative is that there aren't enough parking spots, but what apartment complex does?
