A very bad place to live in. The AC is very old and you could never get the apartment to be cool during summer and in winter it works on gas which is very expensive. The apartment complex looks nice from the outside but it is very old, in fact, from the inside. The laundry facility is literally out of service, we have spent a lot of money trying to get the machines to work but they never did, we did report this incident numerous times but it was never fixed.
It's in a rather sketchy part of town (make sure you lock your doors and/or bikes), but it's sheltered from a lot of the outside crime by Chase Park and other nearby businesses. The rent is pretty good, especially considering the amenities. There have been a few problems (with AC units, occasional insects), but if you keep on them, management usually does a pretty good job. They're also fairly reasonable when it comes to these kinds of issues. Swimming pool is awesome--there's one for the kids and one for the adults. Workout room is awesome. Not a lot of free weights, but enough machines, treadmills, and dumbbells to make do. Also, they recently gave us access to the clubhouse after hours which is really nice.
The staff was always nice and the maintenance was always out at the drop of a dime to resolve any problem. The only issues I had were with the location and the tenants. There are a lot of unattended children running out or riding out on bicycles into driving areas. It's really scary to drive to your building and have a child shoot out on a scooter, you know? The location is pretty inconvenient. You can't really walk anywhere and though the apartments are secluded a bit, it's still in a generally unsafe area. Overall, the staff is great, the space is great, the location is not great, and you may have to flinstones it when it comes to driving in the complex.
Cheap rent. Nice Management. Great deal
