I realize most people write reviews when they either love something or hate it enough to take the time, which is why I guess there are so many bad reviews for this property. I just moved into PS and so far have been pleasantly surprised. The place is super quiet. I walk my dog at all hours and no matter what time it is, it's quiet. People socialize, of course, especially on the weekends, but it's not rowdy at all. The place seems well maintained and my experience has been that they take care of your concerns the minute you voice them. Again, I just moved in, but I think it's a pretty nice place to live and conveniently located, too. Marisa, Ivan and Nisha in the office are very professional and attentive.
If you have just moved to California, or need a cheap place to stay this is the place for you.. this place have a washer and dyer "so no closet for a coat anymore," a place to park, and they will allow you to have your ugly rescue dog-that you got from the pound. We have lived her for about three years. in that time we have delt with neighbors dogs urinating down our patio doors from above, neighbors having over 5 people in a one bedroom apartment living together smoking marijuana, dropping ash and butts onto our patio.. "front office not able to do a darn thang either except send a BS letter. Also their is a major problem with theft. The theft could be someone who lives in the complex, security, maintenance, or the from the horrible gang surrounded neighborhoods, that can easily walk in when ever they want because the front gate is broken so it can be just pulled open. The constant smell of dog crap, weed, and people not wanting to clean up their dog crap will get to you as well. The over bearing problem of barking , and the non diverse community will make you love this place even more. " example-white people feeling superior and thinking they own the world." #whiteheaven The office hours in this place do not matter because every day it seems they close whenever they want to.. For example if the office hours say they close at 7pm they'll usually lock the door at 5pm and then lock up and leave at 6pm.. Parking is another issue; I see people parking here and then going to work, an you come home and all parking spaces are taken so you have to park illegally and or the street in the hood across the street. with a sticker they will tow you from your own neighborhood to. Bottom line this place looks cool online, and in the front, and maybe to visit, but living here i would not wish my worst enemy live here for free o yeah they have a roach coach ever Tuesday so come by... just to eat tho.. its a cool pool here to.. since our gate has been broken for like 3 years you can just waltssss on through an swim at your leisure..
Horrible..tiny, extremely overpriced, spider infested apartment that has a horrible breed restriction. When you move out they make up some bullshit and keep your deposit
Ha! Get this - and mind you I can finally laugh about this because it has been a year - but I am still on the e-mailing list for Pacific Shores. I broke my lease early due to consecutive thefts of my Harley-Davidson's hard bags off my Road King. PS staff would not only do nothing about it and went far beyond rude. Appalling really. Well, today there is a Word Document attached to the email that is a Crime Notice! lololololol. Well, it seems they have finally acknowledged the rampant vehicle theft issue at PS. *And I'm talking about the kind where entire motorcycles are stolen right into the back of gangsters white vans! HB is NOT high crime for So Cal. But Pacific Shores IS. And when you become a victim of it, get ready. Wait till the PS staff blow it off while your family loses thousands of literal dollars to property crime. And then, when I broke my lease. Almost 3 THOUSAND dollars were paid in a lease break fee that they were unwilling to wave even in lieu of the crime.
Just wanted to leave a note on here in case anyone else makes this mistake. If you have two carports and one of them is an open spot and the other a covered spot make sure you don't switch those not even for a few hours. Even though you are paying for two spots monthly, they will tow you in a matter of hours and you'll get stuck paying 200 dollars to get your car back. BEWARE of this racket because as we all know there is no difference in the covered or open spots, they're both spots. And in case you were wondering no they didn't tow both cars they towed one of them. I guess that's good? Or do they just pick and choose what policies are convenient for them to enforce. Very very disappointed in Pacific Shores on this one, take care everyone, don't make this mistake, be warned.
