It was always a pleasure to live at Villa Vinee. I lived there for two years from 2012-2014. I moved from out of state and was new to the Omaha community. My first interactions with the staff at Villa Vinee helped me feel more at home and comfortable in a new environment. Andy (the property manager) is a joy to talk with, always seemed to know the rest of the residents, and answered questions and requests promptly. At times when maintenance was needed inside my apartment I never had to wait long. The maintenance crew was very efficient and friendly. I never felt burdensome or as if I asked a “dumb” question. The first fall/winter season I was there I noticed condensation on the inside of my window and sliding doors in my apartment. I told Andy about this and within a week I was outfitted with a new window and sliding glass door at no cost to me. It was this type of thoughtful responsiveness that made my stay at Villa Vinee impeccable. There is a mix of people who rent at Villa Vinee. I saw families with young children strolling through the courtyards as well as young college students/young professionals. It was a nice place for all ages. I also owned a cat. There is pet rent, but because of the base rent price, adding pet rent did not make the rent outrageous. As far as I could tell, my cat also enjoyed staying at Villa as well. The rent was reasonable, the features were updated, amenities were in working order and fit my needs (their gym is not top of the line, but they always take suggestions on how to improve that area). They are moving toward a non-smoking property, which for me is a big plus (even though I did not experience it in my stay as it is being enforced across the property slowly). The moving out process was a breeze and a month after I moved out I received nearly my whole deposit back via a check in the mail. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone. I cannot speak on behalf of the other properties that Robert Hancock oversees, but I can assure you, Villa Vinee is a gem of a place (and everyone who works there).
Getting bad by the day. Lots of maintenance issues cropping up and the new mgr is least cared about fixing on time. Small fitness and overcrowded small pool. Only good thing is the location.
