BED BUGS!!!!! STAY AWAY!!! There are so many bugs all over. They will try to bait and switch you. Show you a good apartment, have you put a deposit down and give you another crappy one. You sign a lease that says as soon as you move in you are responsible for any bugs in your apartment and then you sign an agreement that says you can not treat any bug issues you have, to contact there office, and have them take care of it. They use TNT Pest control which is the worse business. They come without warning and they tore apart my apartment. Threw my clothes everywhere, threw my bed around and sprayed it all. Then on top of that told me that there was no bug issue they cant find a single one. I have dozen of pictures and I have multiple bites covering my whole body. SO MANY BED BUGS!! They will claim that you brought in these Bed Bugs even though there are reviews all over the internet saying that they have them. I found out fast that I am allergic to these bugs and after moving in had to get rid of EVERYTHING I own and get a lawyer to get out. Two years after this happened they are still after me for "Damages'. I was in the apartment for 6 Days and I have a list of charged besides my rent.... Deep cleaning fees, utilities, and total paint replacement!? Why does the whole apartment need to be repainted? Total scam and every couple months they add something onto the charges. Not only that but they started renting our my apartment before my lease was even over? The management is also the worse. I told them I was having an issue and wanted there help and they told me to get out and talk to there lawyer. Talked to the owner and she said screw off, talk to the lawyer Kirk A Cullimore. There lawyer is a scum bag and wont talk to me either they just have there paralegal play mail tag and try to scare people. STAY AWAY!!!
Unfortunately, I still live here and am trying desperately to move out. There are spiders in every corner, mold in the dry wall, broken windows, broken cabinets, broken closet doors that the management refuse to fix. Everything here feels dirty and brown. Hardly a place worth living in. Some homeless guy threw up in the hallway two weeks ago and the cleaning people haven't even touched it yet. The washer and dryer area is a place for homeless people to hang out in the night and even if the 3 machines aren't being used by someone else, it's almost worse news because the machines are $h!t and don't clean your clothes anyway. Save yourself the hassle, stress, and depression. Keep looking for a better place to live. You deserve it.
Just moved here and still currently living. Working on getting out of the lease as we speak. Here is what happened within the first 4 days. 1. package stolen 2. bed bugs / fleas bit me so badly I had to go to hospital. I had purchased everything brand new so I knew that the infestation was there prior to move in date. 3. My mail key was broken and my mailbox showed signs of being burglarized. After speaking with the mailman he said that these are broken into almost regularly. When I informed the lease office that my package was stolen, they said, "oh no", and went about their day. 4. Finally, again, this is after 4 days of living, I received a notice of evicition for not paying my rent on time. Which was false because I had to hand over the rent to move in!. Bottom line, this place is unprofessional, dirty and straight up in the projects. The people that live there are disgusting, meth using, bottom of the barrel type people. I say the same for the people that run it. If you move in... have an attorney at the ready because it's going to be one hell of a bad ride. good luck.
This is an abysmal place to habitate. I can substantiate all the previous claims of cockroaches in cabinets, but what they don't say is that even after you bring these issues up multiple times over the course of weeks and months, staff will say "I'm sorry, we'll get right on that" and then proceed to never get on that. The apartment looked okay when I saw it for the open house. Almost immediately after signing the lease, a bubble of liquid started forming in the paint in the ceiling of my bathroom. I talked to the staff as soon as I noticed. They did nothing for weeks. The bubble got much bigger, and eventually cracked open, leaving a huge gash in my ceiling where it had split. In the meantime, my living room started flooding from the ground (I live on the bottom floor). It grew and grew until I was literally tip-toeing around this five-foot wide puddle in the middle of my living room. I brought this up to staff as well, long before it got to be that serious. After three visits and an angry e-mail, they finally sent someone to clean it up, but they couldn't tell me where the flooding was coming from and didn't seem to have any intention of finding out. They told me to "see what happens after a day or so". Well unsurprisingly, the next day it started flooding in exactly the same way. As an added bonus, my toilet floods my bathroom every time it gets flushed - not because of overflowing, but because the base wasn't properly sealed. The incompetence abounds here and if you have any desire to maintain a sense of sanity and clean living, not to mention a healthy relationship between leaser and leasee, stay away from City Park Apartments. Stay away.
City Park Apartments at 780 N 900 W, Salt Lake City is the worst place I have ever lived. The management is uncooperative and incompetent; they do not care about the residents and simply lie rather than finding solutions. The management at City Park Apartments is very disrespectful and unrightfully condescending towards residents. Management will illegally enter you apartment whenever they want and they will filed an eviction against you in retaliation if you do anything to defend yourself. They are criminal and it is best to find another place to live than to deal with these morally bankrupt characters.
