This place used to be pretty good. I lived there for 3 years. It was pretty expensive for the square footage, but the people made it worth paying for. That has come to a close it would seem. Josie, the concierge, is amazing. Anthony and Juan are the best, most helpful maintenance team you would ever find. The management has really gone down hill in the last few months. The day concierge is almost never there. Maybe they don't have enough people, but before Josie went on maternity leave and with Marcuita as manager, that desk was always manned. That is the entire point of having a concierge. They recently powerwashed they garage. Instead of just washing around the vehicles/bikes (water and air are very capable of washing around things), they towed the vehicles and cut the bike locks. Crazy sauce. Due to the proximity to a prison and construction, this place isn't worth it anymore. Live at one of the new complexes going up down the street or at Cameron Station, they will be worth the money.
Used to be an OK place (3 stars). The place isn't the best built and the location, while ok, isn't as good as the other complexes around there. This coupled with the immediate surroundings being unpleasant (cement factory, a lot that's been vacant for years, etc) just makes it rather drab in comparison to other complexes. The new management company is just terrible. They've resorted to posting fake reviews online, even offering residents gift cards to post positive reviews for them online. Why would you want to live in a place that resorts to that? Calls to management are ignored, the manager (Marcuita) will lie to you, etc. She's more concerned with maintaining the idea that it's a good place rather than actually making it a good place to live. I lived here for 3 years, it was never amazing, but Bozzuto and Marcuita made it terrible. Avoid at all costs, go somewhere else. I'm so happy I don't live there anymore.
Excellent place to live, I love it here! The residents are friendly, so are the staff and the dogs are very sweet. I would recommend this place. Haven't really seen anything negative or hear anything so this is an awesome place to live. Also, the maitenence is very quick with repairs and very nice.
Pros: Location close to Eisenhower metro. Staff is friendly and there events to meet your neighbors. Brand new in late 2009. Cons: Cement factory next door starts in way early in the morning with heavy machinery and back up beepers so this is a problem for me since I like to sleep in. However, it is really the only draw back so if you like to get up early or can sleep through anything, this might be the place for you.
