The actual apartments are nice. I loved the inside of our 2 bedroom. Although, I could hear my neighbor that I shared a wall with alllll the time. Definitely not the thickest walls. The management and leasing office were not helpful. Had constant issues from Day 1. When my roommate and I moved out I took pictures of the carpet everywhere and the walls just in case they tried to say we didn't clean or needed to pay. Document everything because we had issues numerous times when we asked for different things and management stated they never received it. The halls were definitely loud at night on the weekends with all the UT kids living here. Do not live here if you are looking for somewhere quiet or family orientated. If you ever move out make sure you document and take pictures of everything and do the walk through with maintenance, have them sign off in front of you that there were no damages. Hope this helps!
I lived there for 8 months. It was an Ok place to live, hallways were really dirty but my place was kept nice. The garage underwent serious renovations. The place felt like it was built very cheaply much like the surrounding apartments in this area. I decided to move out early to save some money but they held me hostage with outrageous fees. Management is really grimy. They nickel and dime you. A guest went out of the fire exit and I was charged $500. The fire department wasn't even called. There was no negotiating it. They wouldn't allow me to sublease my place until I paid that fee. Then they charged me and my roommate $200 each to move out as well as the new tenants $200 each to move in. There were a lot of hidden fees in sign in (high security deposit, high application fees, background check fee). I doubt seriously that the new tenants got a security deposit back even though I left the place in pristine condition. Avoid this shady spot.
Move in date 02/14 Listen, I've lived here for about 4 months now, it has been extremely enjoyable! It's not the Ritz, but it is still high end. The staff has been accomadating to my needs and has been forward with any and all issues i've had. Beautiful showers and bathrooms. The gym isn't perfect, but it gets the job done if you need to get a quick lift in. Free parking inside the structure which is a huge plus when people come over! Have had NO problems with noise or roaches. 2 blocks off the interstate, 1.5 miles from downtown tampa! Close to SoHo as well. Great place, great spot, great price!
DONT EVEN THING ABOUT MOVING HERE! As a middle aged professional working in Tampa, I was very much intrigued with the short location to downtown, the security and amenities the building provided. But boy had I made a big mistake. I moved here a month ago, and my tenancy has been nothing but a nightmare. Main reason, the college kids that go to University of Tampa. This building is swarmed with these disrespectful, irresponsible individuals and it hinders every experience you come across. Do not get a balcony overlooking the pool because all day all you can hear is loud music, foul language, and of course, people being sneaked into this private community that don't belong here. There is no security here, and I mean NONE. Cars in the garage easily piggyback you when coming in the gate with no one enforcing the rule, doors propped open that are supposed to be only accessed by residents with a key, loud, drunk kids jumping in the pool at 3AM waking us up, beer cans, bottles littered all over the place, and to top it all off, the staff does NOTHING. We have complained multiple times with no retribution or anything being done to rectify our peace and quiet being disturbed We had a decorative wreath stolen off our door by our neighbor at 3am in the morning. I caught her in the act and I proceeded to call the "Community Officer" that the city of Tampa provides, and of course, I got a voicemail with no call back in the morning. If you live here, be prepared to be woken up, disturbed, tired, disgusted and prepare to have your property messed with, with none of the staff willing to help you. Please take it from someone who is stuck here and wants nothing but to leave after only a month. Check out the neighboring properties such as NOHO Flats or Post Hyde Park, because I toured with them and I so wish I could have just went with someone else. STAY FAR FAR AWAY.
I moved out in 2011 and am just finding out that they sent me to collections for over $5000! I never received any notification regarding this. I moved out 4 months early because of the cockroaches and asked what needed to be done. I was told that they had rented my unit but I would lose my deposit. I wasn't happy, but accepted it because I was leaving my lease early. Now I am finding out they charged me for the remainder of the lease...and what happened to my deposit. I'm so upset. I have lived in 3 places since living there and don't understand why this is just now showing up. Trying to get in touch with them, but having no luck. Same as when I lived there.
