I love it here. The maintenance personnel are on the ball and respectful, the office staff is great, and the space is comfortable and clean. This is a family oriented complex and the kids are treated with respect. I've not ever had such a good experience in an apartment complex and I've NEVER found staff so respectful and easy to deal with .
Charli and her staff do a great job. This is an older property that requires a lot of up keep. The place is beautiful, reasonable, convenient and the staff really TRIES to accommodate everyone's needs. The parking lot and exterior look great. Hopefully we, as residents, can do our part to help take care of things and keep the place neat and tidy. Thanks again Charli for working sooo hard. Best regards, Judy H
I feel like some of the reviews on here are a bit harsh, but there were definitely issues at this place while I lived there. For the money my roommate and I paid for the two bedroom apartment, it wasn't a terrible deal, but we could have done better. I felt like maintenance issues that I had were taken care of in a prompt manner for the most part. Key fobs didn't work at times. They put a lock on the door going into the basement garage too soon without making sure that people had the key or the key fob wasn't working I can't quite remember exactly what the case was, but they really screwed it up and it resulted in a busted door from angry tenants who couldn't get into their own building. The security gates were an absolute joke and a waste of money. Seems like they do spend a lot of money on useless "improvements" there. What really left a bad taste in my mouth was getting very little of our deposit back. We spent a lot of time cleaning before we turned in the keys and while it may not have been completely spotless from top to bottom there was no way they needed the $200 cleaning fee to bring it up to standard for the next residents. I told them that in an email and Ashley, the property manager, told me she would provide pictures, but never did even after I followed up with her. So I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend unless there is no other place within the area they want to live in that would fit into their budget as far as monthly rent is concerned.
The security gate to the complex was not operational half the time. The lock on the front entrance of our building was not working multiple times, so there were many occasions when anyone could just enter our building with ease. Their "remodel" focused on nothing more than looks; new carpet, paint, etc., while functionality was ignored. Our fob keys NEVER worked. Their maintenance crew was absolutely horrible. One of the maintenance men that was there to repair a leak in the apartment below us (they thought it was leaking from our apartment into the one below; they sent people to fix 4 times over the period of a month before they figured out it had nothing to do with our apartment, which we knew the whole time, hence our arguments with management - see below) asked to bum a cigarette and then left a nice fart for us before leaving. The manager, Ashley is a vain, utterly ignorant and childish fool. If you happen to have a disagreement with her, she'll be happy to go get her little napoleon-complex police officer friend to come harass and threaten you. I believe he lives there, as well. When we moved out, members of the staff told me they don't know how she gets away with some of the things she does. Quite possibly the worst place I've ever lived in my entire life.
All the staff here is great, maintenance requests are amazingly fast and the guys are all nice that I've met. People in the leasing office are really nice too. The apartments are nice, the location is decent and so is the price. The only drawback is that utilities are insane here. Gas and water aren't billed per your unit so everyone in the complex pays exactly the same thing (compared bills with friends that live here too, they're identical) and some months we payed upward of $200 for gas and water, close to 300 after electric and internet.
