Where to start. First off the apartment we chose was NOT the apartment they gave us and they did nothing to fix it. The cabinets fell apart, electrical fixtures were sketchy, the hallway always smelled of pot, and worst of all they towed my car even though it was legally parked, licensed, inspected AND had my parking decal on it. Did they do anything to fix the situation? No, they blamed me for my window tint making the decal hard to see and I had to pay $300 to get my car back! Needless to say there are nicer places to live for the same money. Yes it is convenient to NOB but you pay the price by having horrible service, horrible living conditions, and horrible neighbors. Mind you a woman was shot just steps from my building. Don't walk away from this place. RUN.
I am a new resident to Breezy Point, and I am already extremely displeased and counting down the days until my lease is up. The leasing office is full of shady practices, and all the agents inside are extremely rude. Not only did I have to pay for my car being towed from the complex after being given inaccurate information from the leasing agent, when I brought this to her attention, she told me "It will be your word against mine". DO NOT MOVE HERE, but if you do, please do not trust the leasing office. Their only motive is money, and they do not value their residents whatsoever.
Husband lived here 2010-2012 and it was just ok for the money... There was mold poking through the paint above the shower, loud neighbors constantly fighting, in building 5 I believe. We were quiet and kept to ourselves so overall it's just okay. He got a $600 bill in the mail for rent charged AFTER he moved out, when all they had to do was do a little cross referencing with move out paperwork. but now that we are back in the area looking, I would not come back. The responses from management on the comments below alone make me want to keep searching.. rude... Maybe Breezy Point can look at the comments and improve rather than slam the ex tenants, especially after you have caused them so many problems. Sometimes it's best not to say anything at all.
PLEASE do not let them take your money!!! The apartments are cheap with outdated appliances. Above all, the office staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful! My boyfriend's car got broken into, and when I approached the office staff about any security tape or anything they didn't even know anything happened... the police were called and we were one of 3 cars broken into! How does the apartment complex not know about that?? The building upkeep is very poor and the carpets were always filthy, oh, and I can guarantee you that you will be able to hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do! The price is very tempting, and they will try to appeal to Navy, those on a budget, and ODU student, but, trust me, you will SEVERELY regret it!!!
Breezy Point is great! The apartments are nice and a great deal. Very close to base, downtown, and the highways. Have nothing but good things to say!
