12:00 a.m. Water heater upstairs explodes. Waters gushes down through ceiling light fixtures to apartment downstairs where my daughter and 2 year old grandson live. 50 minutes later 24 hour emergency maintenance guy shows up. Splashes through inch of water in every room of apartment. Turns off electricity. Says it will take at least 3 hours to remove all the water, roll up the carpet, remove the padding, and put all furniture on blocks so old carpet can dry . But manager, without physically seeing the extent of damage says my daughter and 2 year old grandson could have moved back in immediately. Filed a complaint by letter and by phone to customer service department at Nolan Real Estate. THE RESULT: My daughter's covered parking space was sold to a new tenant without notifying my daughter. That's what management did to "fix" the situation. BBB has been notified.
I have lived here with my husband for about6 months and so far we have had a very pleasent experience. The staff in the office is very nice- Lindsay helped us move in and she is awesome! The maintaince staff is friendly too. We have only had one maitnaince issue when we moved in and it was fixed right away and they were very apologetic. We live in a one bedroom, nothing special but it is great for us. We have 2 big dogs, and they are very dog friendly here. My dogs love going to the office to see the staff.
These apartments were great at first. Woo hoo! free tanning! Free pool! Its SO close to everything! But when we first moved in, we were charged an additional fee every month as well as DOUBLE the deposit because of little credit. They told us that they would work with us, and they did, but it cost us an arm and a leg. On top of that, the people in the office could seem to care less after they get your money. If you ever need to break your lease, count on paying as much as you would for a small car. The maintenance is slow, the dryers in the smaller apartment break frequently, we had an occurrence where it took nearly two weeks for them to fix the dryer, and when they did they left dirt on the carpet and knocked stuff off of our counter and messed up the whole dryer worse than when they came to fix it. In the beginning it was great. Nice location. Decent amenities. If you can't go anywhere else and it's just you, it could be a good place. We are currently spending $800 a month for 680 square feet. The kitchen is claustrophobic, and the bathtub came with stains in it. There are nearly always children running around the complex when the weather is nice, And I like kids, it wouldn't be bad if they didn't run through the hallways screaming, but nothing has been done about it. But for god sakes, if you have ANY other options that are cheaper or larger, go with them. Save yourself the stress and the money.
Springhill is a very fun place to live the Staff is really nice and its in a great location. They also have the best school in blue valley district- the kids will really like it here .
