The Avalon Apartments have proved to be nothing less than fantastic. The tour of the community, the move in and signing process, everything was on schedule as we were kind of stressed in meeting our moving deadlines. The apartments are spacious, and very clean, not to mention the new outside paint job that is being completed soon. The amenities are better than any we have ever experienced before, and the front office ladies Rehlinda and Ashley make this community a fun, and relaxing place to live. Thank you.
I needed to relocate and find an apartment immediately. Upon contacting Avalon, I was energetically greeted by Ms. Denise. She was extremely patient and polite with me. Once I arrived I was greeted at the door by Jordan ( who was absolutely a doll). I then was able to meet Ms. Denise face to face. She was even more pleasant in person than on the phone. She walked me through my entire lease. We then completed a walk through and I LOVE my apartment. It's perfect sizing for me and I won't complain. We did notice that the ventilation fan in the bathroom was a bit loud. I had to leave and when I returned it was fixed and to no surprise, there's no noise whatsoever. Fast forward to today July 31, 2015, I placed in a work order at 7:30 am, and left to run a few errands. Upon arrival I found that not only had my work order been completed in a one hour time window, but the water is hot just like I like it!!!! I am probably one of the easiest residents that a community could ever have as a tenant and I am EXTREMELY grateful for the service, quality, and expeditious manner of which the staff here perform their tasks. I am excited that I chose Avalon as my new place of residence!!!! SJS
look around before deciding everything is an addition and of course in their favor, its okay if security lighting is out in emtry ways for days,if water is standing for days in the hallways, its just like most other complexes, all in their favor, rent a washer and dryer but have a problem on the weelend and its not going to be addressed til monday but no allowances for your unconvince .also,I didnt find out til much later that you can get out of your lease within the first 30 days if you are unhappy.a very big inconvenience but I wished I had known. in my building there are several handicapped and not nearly enough provisions.also with that in mind a big danger with neglect of standing water in entrys and no lighting.fall and get hurt, they are still going to expect all their money and not assume any responsibility.also, find out history on your apartment, how long did it sit empty and has there been a previous mold or dry rot problem.get A dehumidifier from the get go if you are smart.I was shocked to find out how much water was in this apartment without the dehumidifier, makes you wander where that water was going without the dehumidifier.
Definitely read the review about things that are considered BEFORE HAND . I had a horrible experience at Avalon Apartments . You can hear EVERYTHING, every other wednesday be prepared to hear the roaring of the local lawn care service . Hardly any parking in the place, it seems as though if they simply calculated the amount of people rented too ; easily enough the parking should be spoken for ? This is not the case at Avalon . There attempt at making "Visitors" park in a different area is feeble, every morning you wake up the parking lot will be full of Suburbans parked curbside . The last summer I lived there 50% of it ; the pool "pump" was broken and was classified - not sanitary for swimming conditions . The treadmill's and exercise equipment were also ALWAYS broken . Then they have the audacity to put a sign out front reading "WE LOVE OUR RESIDENTS" . I spent nearly 890$ for a Small 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment that you could hear EVERYTHING in . I could hear the neighbors flushing, bathing, eating, using a blender, vacuuming, i could hear the dogs upstairs - they were Yorkies . The pet fee is only a "fee" i was told, nothing more . Therefore you only are paying to have a pet ( as if the rent each month isn't enough ) . They will charge you for anything and everything that the pet does to the apartment - which is understandable in most cases . When depositing 250$ for a 11 lb cat that has trouble killing a lady bug it is NON REFUNDABLE . It is simply a fee ; remember now that you'll also be paying a reasonable amount (~25$) a month for the pet to have residency too . The "NO DEPOSIT" only means they require you to give your full credit card information - meaning they have complete power to charge you however and for whatever they deem necessary when moving out . No expenses will be withheld, because it is your pockets they are in . Don't mind hearing the neighbors toss salad ? YOURE IN . Remember the pet fee ? It covers nothing . The deposit you didn't put down ? It'll all be charged to your credit card . If you can deal with that ; AVALON IS FOR YOU !
