Worst apartments I have ever lived in. So much black mold and rot in the walls, flooding in the apartment and awful care for the living conditions of their residents. I had to be moved out of one apartment because the mold ruined my furniture and caused me to have breathing issues. It flooded five times in one month and they had to leave a dehumidifier in my apartment for months. The cabinets peel and fall apart and after I moved out they tried to pin 500 dollars of charges for damages that were already in the apartment prior to my living there. Sadly they violated their own contract by moving me out two weeks earlier than my lease end because they had already rented my apartment. Worst Place to Live Ever!
I moved into this place in January and I love my studio. So far my experience has been really pleasant. I love being able to walk to work and also catch the max downtown. Everyone seems really nice and my neighbor is super friendly. Sorry to see the bad information/reviews. I moved here from New York and I'm glad I did. The office people have been really helpful but I wish I had a washer and dryer. I guess you can’t always get what you want!
Not exactly what I expected. smells like mildew in the kitchen even though I requested the sink to be fixed, they fixed, but leaved the mildew on the wall, same with bathrooms, cabinets are coming apart on the seems, and have what looks like water damage, but management refuse to replace them, the refrigerator is not working, but they haven replace it, the stove does not work but they took a quick look and told me it was fixed. the tow truck towed my niece car within 5 minutes while she was bringing some roses, even though she got there before the guy lock the car we end up paying$200 dollars, and the worse part is that management has a contract with them for that. TO MUCH FOR PAYING RENT IN APLACE YOU WANT TO BE SECURE!!! all I got was sorry, have a nice day.
I found this place via the Internet and was able to secure a lease within 4 hours so we had a place to come home to after moving from upstate New York to Oregon. Not only is this community lovely with its flowery landscaping, but it just won an award for being the best-managed. We just renewed our 6-month lease to a 13-month lease because it's that good! The amenities are plentiful: spacious laundry facility; clubhouse with fireplace, full kitchen, and free wifi; fitness center that overlooks the swimming pool; hot tub/spa that is covered so you can soak even when it rains; covered parking available (extra charge and totally worth it); little tables and picnic areas; sun deck by the pool; tennis and more. We also have cats, and this is a pet-friendly community. Management is available 7 days a week -- as well as 24/7 on-call maintenance as needed -- and they have been very responsive whenever we've had a leak or mold or other issue. Of course, you have to be a responsible renter and keep your windows wiped down (or cracked slightly) to disperse humidity that contributes to mold, which would be an issue no matter where you lived in greater Portland. Nearly all of the tenants are respectful, friendly, and helpful. I occasionally hear a neighbor above or next door, which is to be expected in an apartment. While our floor plan is small (603 sf), the layout is very sensibly designed and maximizes use of space much like that on a ship. It is also close to shopping, dining, major freeways, and a fabulous supermarket. We're 1/2 hour away from Multnomah Falls and 1 hour away from Mt. Hood. The only thing we don't like about living here is that some people smoke outside (as they would anywhere else), which detracts from the outdoor walking paths throughout the complex. However, I feel very safe walking around or doing laundry late at night, for example, as security personnel have been by to check on things. All the other reviews cited management and security issues, but it seems to me that they have been addressed and handled very well. There are many gorgeous high-end cars (BMW, Audi, Lexus) parked here that have not been abused. Drivers are courteous, and all age ranges are represented here.
Service is terrible now that the lease is signed. Poor construction, apartments smell terrible, recurring mold and ant issues. There were holes in the walls when I moved in!!! My lease can't end soon enough!
