Our manager she gets out of the office sometimes and does a bit of cwork around here also the office works hard also to make Whispering Hills a good place to live I have been here for 8 years .The office makes shure there are activates for all contests, good prizes honest office good place to live quiet etc etc
I love living at Whispering Hills Apartments. I moved out of town in March 2013 and immediately moved back to Whispering Hills in July 2013. I have had nothing but positive experiences with management and maintenance. I appreciate everyone in the office being so nice, friendly and helpful. Sam & Lisa are two of the sweetest people I know. Their communication is commendable. I appreciate how the property is well maintained and maintenance is on top of repairs. Management ALWAYS follows-up with maintenance request which is awesome. I think it's awesome how the office continuously plans activities for the residents to enjoy. I thoroughly enjoy living at Whispering Hills and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a quiet, friendly, safe, enjoyable apartment complex.
The apartment community is really pretty and seems to have great amenities. Also, the surrounding area is great. Tons to do. I decided not to move into the apartments because of family concerns. However, during the process, Lisa was very diligent about speeding along my approval process and keeping me informed. Very friendly to work with and under different circumstances I would of loved living here. I cannot speak about maintenance or anything like that, but the floor plans were lovely and pretty large for a one bedroom and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Everyone took the time to introduce themselves and were helpful.
I lived at Whispering Hills for 3 months while I worked as an intern in the Kansas City Area. The apartment was a great size for me and in a good location (when my car was in a body shop I was still able to walk/bike to work in a reasonable amount of time, which was great). I would run at the nearby park and management seemed to have a weekend or evening activity planned fairly often, which was cool as an intern living alone. The one time I had an issue with my A/C, I told the office and someone was in to fix it the next day. The staff all seemed to know me by name, which surprised me as I only dropped in occasionally, and it's that kind of commitment and attention to detail that I feel truly set this place apart. I definitely plan on looking back here if I move back to the area.
I stayed in the apartment for 13 months.I had a very bad experience with the management team as well as the apartment itself. The first month rent is free but they recover the first month rent and more by charging penalty for normal wear and tear. The maintainence of apartments is suboptimal, I had a very bad experience of living without Air Conditioning for nearly a month . The manager's written explanation at one time was near derogatory. e.g. The current property manager's explanation about my one of the clarifications is given below. "This was due to the spices you use to cook your food. I had to pay an outside contractor to fog the apartment .We could not move another resident in with the smell of the cooking spices being so heavy." Stay Away from this apartment complex as much possible. It is a worst apartment in Overland Park.
