DO NOT LIVE HERE...especially if you have pets. The reason they waive the security deposit is so they can overcharge you when you move out. I've lived in apartments in Austin for the past 7 years and have never been taken financial advantage of like this place. I've never written a review before but I felt it necessary to warn people about this MONEY PIT. I was not charged a security deposit but did pay $500 pet deposit ($250 refundable - but wasn't) and $120 in pet rent for a year. Total $620. When leaving they said there were a few small spots on the carpet from my 4lb dog and that because of it they would have to replace the whole carpet and charged me over $400. Honestly, these spots could have been patched because of how small they were but Stacey, the manager, refused and said it was mandatory to have the whole carpet replaced. I explained $620 should be more than enough to cover any "pet damage" but Stacey said it doesn't cover any "pet damage" and that was extra. So what is the point in a deposit and rent?! Stacey, the manager, was rude and not willing to compromise on the expenses. STAY AWAY...this place will rob you when you move out.

My girlfriend and I (late 20's) are current tenants of three years with Hudson Miramont. The complex is a great blend of open green space with resident amenities for every age group. The floorplans are space concious and luxurious (We live in the 2 bed 2 bath model) while maintenance is minimal. The ducted HVAC system is not in the attic, but rather in the conditioned space that is designed nicely through plenums and fur downs. I am especially a fan of the two bathrooms as both have large vanity areas, one bathroom has a walk-in shower, and the other has a bathtub-shower combination. Management is responsive, engaging, and won't neglect maintenance emergencies. We had our AC go out last week and Brandon got right on it and the AC was fixed by the next morning. This is also a very dog friendly complex, so long as you are friendly and pick up after your pooch! Resort style pool and plenty of walking paths in a bucolic part of Austin that still feels like authentic Hill Country. This part of Oak Hill is really blowing up with food options popping up every day.You can't beat the views of Barton Creek and the ranging cows and horses next door.

I like living here at the Hudson Miramont. It's a bit more expensive than my previous apartment complex but a little nicer as well. It's close to Downtown, and there's not much traffic on SW parkway. Plus if you drive down Barton Creek Blvd, you get to see some scenic beautiful homes, and end up at Bee Caves and easy access to 360. It's pretty convenient and close to stores: HEB, The Galleria, Walmart, and Target. The dog park is pretty nice and it has some cool items that your pet can climb and walk on. The only downfall that I see is that it doesn't have a hot tub pool in the community center. Also, It'd be great if they had a trainer or something teach a class, maybe one day a week. Yoga, Zumba, hip hop dance, etc.

Absolutely LOVE living here. Clean, quiet, and luxurious. Some absolutely amazing views from balconies facing the hills. The front office staff is always incredibly nice, and I've never had an issue with them at all. Beautiful pool, and the rec center is always tidy and clean. Only 15 minutes from downtown, and you can avoid all the traffic from the "Y" by taking Southwest Parkway. I'd highly recommend living here!! Perfect location, and absolutely beautiful.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT MOVE HERE. Yes, the amenities are nice (pool, workout facility, landscape etc) but anything to do with management and you are screwed. If they paid half as much attention to their residents as they do the flowers, it'd be the place to live for sure! I've had problems with this apartment complex since I moved in. My lease was up last mont, but somehow I'm STILL paying to live there. Management conveniently asked for a forwarding address to "issue a refund," leading me to believe it was my security deposit. Little did I know that it was for the June rent I was paying for. Didn't even have the gumption to call me when they noticed the mistake. This is a shady, all about money and not about their residents place.
