I like living here at the Hudson Miramont. It's a bit more expensive than my previous apartment complex but a little nicer as well. It's close to Downtown, and there's not much traffic on SW parkway. Plus if you drive down Barton Creek Blvd, you get to see some scenic beautiful homes, and end up at Bee Caves and easy access to 360. It's pretty convenient and close to stores: HEB, The Galleria, Walmart, and Target. The dog park is pretty nice and it has some cool items that your pet can climb and walk on. The only downfall that I see is that it doesn't have a hot tub pool in the community center. Also, It'd be great if they had a trainer or something teach a class, maybe one day a week. Yoga, Zumba, hip hop dance, etc.

Absolutely LOVE living here. Clean, quiet, and luxurious. Some absolutely amazing views from balconies facing the hills. The front office staff is always incredibly nice, and I've never had an issue with them at all. Beautiful pool, and the rec center is always tidy and clean. Only 15 minutes from downtown, and you can avoid all the traffic from the "Y" by taking Southwest Parkway. I'd highly recommend living here!! Perfect location, and absolutely beautiful.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT MOVE HERE. Yes, the amenities are nice (pool, workout facility, landscape etc) but anything to do with management and you are screwed. If they paid half as much attention to their residents as they do the flowers, it'd be the place to live for sure! I've had problems with this apartment complex since I moved in. My lease was up last mont, but somehow I'm STILL paying to live there. Management conveniently asked for a forwarding address to "issue a refund," leading me to believe it was my security deposit. Little did I know that it was for the June rent I was paying for. Didn't even have the gumption to call me when they noticed the mistake. This is a shady, all about money and not about their residents place.

Lived here for over a year and haven't really had any problems. Parking does suck, most of the spots are for small cars but there are a lot of inconsiderate people that park their huge SUVs purposely in 2 spaces instead of trying to fit in one. Additionally, there are also inconsiderate pet owners that do not clean up after their dogs. I'm not sure what the management can do about this issue, though, so I would just advise being careful walking across the grass. EDIT 1: On Monday (Memorial Day), I noticed that many of the inappropriately parked vehicles were given warnings, so they may actually be serious about enforcing parking between the lines now. EDIT2: Maybe they do read these reviews - we received a notice earlier this week (Jun 21ish) that action will actually be taken against the numerous people that walk around with unleashed dogs (apparently there have been 2 recent biting incidents) and allow their dogs to defecate throughout the property without cleaning it up. The new management seems to be taking things in the right direction and I'll bump my review up to 5 stars if things continue to improve. :-)

I have lived here since May 2006 and at first management was really good about everything, but 2 owners later, it has gone downhill... first, the current management has no care for residents following pet policy (even though I have reported it more than a few times) and there's still dog crap everywhere you look on the grounds. My husband and I refuse to walk on the grass around our area, in fear of tracking it into our place. Also, there are a lot of billing problems with water and trash, as Hudson Miramont are "supposed" to pay your bill to Sierra Utilities, but apparently, they are screwing that up. Trash pickup is pretty unreasonable (5am-8am) which causes people to put out trash the night before, which causes an animal problem. As someone else pointed out below, the interiors of these "luxury" apartments are made with THE cheapest materials and have low quality appliances, but that's not specific to this property, I think most apartment complexes follow this rule of thumb. Parking is a problem depending on which building you live in (building 2 and 3 are the worst, as they are closest to the Leasing Center). You probably need a covered space. The positives are that it is very quiet at night, close to AMD and most shopping needed (Bee Cave Galleria and Oak Hill Y), as well as most neighbors seem to be nice but standoffish. I think the prices are a bit high still. The fitness center and pool area are nice, but the pool is quite shallow and not really ideal for lap swimming. It looks pretty from the outside, but it's only skin deep.
