I absolutely love my neighbors. They're just good people. That's why I stayed for a second year. But I will only renew my new lease for six more months. The maintenance guys are very friendly and respond quickly when I am pushy with the office, but there are so many things that were wrong when I moved in, I was asked to make repair requests every other week until they got done! Also, there is almost NO proactive maintenance on the property. There are FOUR rotting dead trees behind my building along with a field of dirt and weeds. I am constantly cleaning because there is SO much dirt and NO grass anywhere except around the front office. Also, the office is quite often closed during hours they say they're open. Taking staff lunches and having one person work on weekends is unprofessional. The "management" can't be on property more than 20 hours a week and when I had a water problem, it took 8 months to fix, and only then because I sent a letter to the property OWNER. Lastly, the lobby door, garage door, and elevator in my building are always breaking. Being claustrophobic and getting stuck in the elevator for even 5 minutes means full panic attack. And when you leave a message saying these things are broken, it could be days before the office tells maintenance about it. Just because this is an older complex, doesn't mean it can't be nice. With management who actually care to be here and to help people, it could be a nice place to live. Otherwise, it's just a constant struggle of continuous issues!
Just wanted to reiterate the complete lack of customer service vineyards provides. It is a joke! These apartments are a Joke! Maria, Cassie, And Angela! ALL JOKES! Jesus, RUN FROM THIS PLACE!
Staff is pretentious, rude, dishonest, and non customer oriented. Place is in disrepair, stinks, and is roach infested. Stolen cars horrible parking, and a staff that could give a shit less. But don't be late, or they'll have that letter on your door so fast its ridiculous. Its like the manage the apartment in a completely hands off sort of way. There is absolutely no care or soul in these people. And no I was never late never missed a payment experienced stupidity from the staff on a REGULAR basis. What a poor representation of Dallas on such a nice side of town. I was reading the other users review and wanted to cut and paste this as it is 1000% (thousand) percent true!! Doesnt matter that leasing has threatened evictions these ladies still put mounds of cat food and large bowls of water out, cat food just thrown on the ground! Always have at least one cat dead in the streets! Million dollar question..do you think leasing picks up the bodies???? NOOOO! Tired of pissy hallways, smelling like ---- and urine!!! Every morning 6am weed smell in the hallways, they can get high but not go to work!!! Cops over here every day!!! dog ---- everywhere & cigarrette smoking in the hallways..hope you dont have asthma or hate cigarrettes! BTW NOOOO PARKING!! dont let leasing tell you that lie. My cars have been towed twice!! Tow truck companies come thru multiple times a night looking for cars to tow. Leasing is in on it cause how do they even get in the gate. They will even tow you for expired tags, or even if they are not expired but you havent put your new sticker on they will tow u!!
The apartment complex has a very colorful demo. I feel very safe living in the my building. The maintenance and office staff are very polite, and when a repair is needed it gets taken care of fast.
After 8 months here I would not recommend it to anyone! When I moved in the plastic bathtub had a repaired crack in it which reopened the first time I stepped in it. I told front office about it & that it needed to be replaced. They instead chose to "repair" it again....twice to no effect before finally putting in a new tub which required a new floor as well. During the couple weeks this took I had to use a bathroom in another apt on another floor. A HUGE pain & inconvenience! This should have been fixed before I moved in! Infested with bugs which their "spot" treatments are ineffective on. I was told that bugs are coming from other apartments. This means that the whole building needs to be treated which I was told cannot be done. When rain began spring 2014 I informed management that I had rain coming into my bedroom closet in my top floor apartment. I was told leak could not be fixed because the roof was due to be replaced. I complained repeatedly to every office staff member to no avail. SEVERAL weeks later & after many heavy rains a roofing crew showed up at my door. They told me that they were due to begin replacing the roof the following Monday & were there to fix my leak. Why this couldn't have been done weeks earlier before mold grew on walls, ceiling, as well as some of my belongings is a mystery. I had to throw out albums & artwork due to mold. I was notified by senior management that I needed to clear my belongings out of the closet so water damage could be repaired. Months later after more complaints that nothing had been done & that I still had no closet a repairman came to fix the damage. Mold was painted over & cracks in paint are still visible. The carpet was ripped up & not repaired. When repairman was done he cleaned his supplies in my kitchen sink leaving a big mess for me to clean & used my cloth kitchen towels to clean his equipment, dumping them under my sink. I can only guess that he thought I would not notice. He also left paint stains on my carpet. As a former construction worker I can say with confidence that the quality of the work done is terrible! I look forward to my lease ending so I can leave this dump!
