Ok, I am starting to get tired of writing reviews, but I just have to get it out there! I have lived here for a year and while the apartments are built pretty cheap, I have been complacent. However, when considering renewing, I realized the property management company had made an egregious error and gone with a deplorable pricing system causing the prices to change daily based on supply and demand. I see it as a shady way of getting around Fair Housing. The apartments across the street have better pricing, bigger apartments, a much nicer pool, clubhouse, gym, kids playroom, fitness room for classes, movie room (that is open AFTER HOURS), and COSTS LESS!! The 1900 dollar price we were quoted for moving to a two bedroom was OUTRAGEOUS. Apartments in Harbor East are this price and are ridiculously nicer. Also, JPI has caused the property to get into a giant RFP for new equipment for the sucky gym equipment causing the residents to suffer through their red tape BS. Don't get me wrong, I work for a large company, but we never make decisions that negatively impact our customers or our employees. Obviously, JPI does not feel this way. Bad form. Finally, with the new pricing, comes the glorious idiocy of Laurie on the leasing staff. She is unprofessional and unethical and while JPI probably encourages this kind of behavior, residents should be wary! READ THE FINE PRINT. Her manager doesn't really seem to care all that much. Rent at your own risk! By the way, did I mention the home invasion last fall?
