Don't expect fully functioning appliances if you live here. And if you don't want to make a minimum of 3 calls to get appliances fixed, don't move here. And by 3 calls, I mean 3 calls in which you actually speak to someone. Be prepared to call an average of 10 times before someone answers DURING OFFICE HOURS. And if you think you should be treated like a PAYING customer, don't move here. However, if you like paying overpriced rent for a unit that looks nothing like the model, or if you like paying double water and trash then this is the apartment complex for you!!!!
This place upsets me. Besides the gated community and the nice appearance, this place is pretty much a rip off. Please be reminded that you will probably not get your deposit back at the end of your lease when you move. The deposit is also 1 grand and they will over charge you for everything possible to close out on your deposit. First, when we moved I have my new apartment fax them my forwarding address. 2nd, after 3 months we came back asking about our refund from our deposit. They stated that “the check was bounced back” they asked for our address, stated they did not have our address on file. (First of all, where was the check sent to in the first place and how could it bounced back if you never got our new address?) After another month, we came back asking for our refund again, now they’re stating we “owe” them money. They gave us a list with all these overpriced charges for carpet replacement, heavy cleaning, $80 bucks mandatory fee, and other crap that adds up to around $700 bucks. After that charging us utilities when we already paid full rent and utilities payment before we left the place. They never stated how much we “owe” them and there was two different amount on the list that shows utilities charges. On another note, all the staff are stuck up and need to pull their face out of their ass and stop looking down on people. Customers should be first and if you work in a career flied that requires customer service you better represent your place like how you should and treat everyone that walks in with respect. Finally, they called back saying they adjusted the bill and now the balance is $0.00 for our refund. This upsets me truly because we all work hard for our money and this place is willing to rip you off and set their company name in a bad place. I guess that’s what you call business to them.
My wife and I absolutely loved living here for 2 years before buying a house. It was in a great location, quiet, with plenty of space for our little family. There are community events a couple times a month hosted by the wonderful Cares Team. The fitness center and pool area were utilized often and we always felt safe in the gated community.
We chose Addison sight-unseen after moving to Colorado from the east coast and were very happy with our choice! The rent was reasonable for a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment and all of the amenities that it included. The only bad things that we could think of is that we once had our bike stolen when it was locked to the bike rack with a u-lock. This happened right outside of our apartment in the middle of the night, someone used bolt-cutters to take it. Also, once it came time to renew our lease in the summer of 2014, the rent was increased by about 20% - but this was common in the metro area. We never really had any issues with noisy neighbors. We barely ever heard our neighbors upstairs and around us, which was really nice. The maintenance staff was very friendly and got the jobs we needed done in a timely manner. The grounds were also beautiful to walk your dog around and there is also a bigger park right across the street next to the entrance on Beeler. We loved having the Cares Team there and attending their monthly events at the clubhouse. It was so nice to be welcomed to the area by friendly people after not knowing a single soul in the town. We have since become very good friends with them and they have also introduced us to other friends that we frequently hang out with two years after moving here! Addison is also located about 5 minutes away from a Target and Sprouts located in the Gardens on Havana shopping center. There's also a Walmart Neighborhood Market less than 5 minutes down the road which was awesome. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the Cherry Creek Shopping Center and a few more minutes to get to downtown Denver. The location was truly ideal for us, and we only moved out because we purchased a home. Overall, we would certainly recommend Addison to anyone looking to move!
My wife and I have loved our time at Addison and have been here for more than 2 years. For apartment living, they offer some great amenities and there is a real tight-knit community feel. We know dozens of our neighbors and made lots of great friendships. They have community events every month that are free to attend and the vast majority of people we talk to about living here love their apartment (a common complaint is hearing footsteps from upstairs, but what can you expect from apartment living).
