Don't ever ever consider moving into this apartment. Yes, you love the grass and landscape when you first saw it. But the truth is the service and maintenance is horrible. The appliance in the apartment is old and broken half way. The AC will cost you more than $200 per month even you live downstairs. You will always have leaking problems and they never fixed it any way because they don't want to do the hard work. Sometimes they ignored your maintenance request and sometimes they just do simple patch work if you were lucky but it never solved the problem. If you live upstairs, as I have friends here living upstairs, it will rain in your apartment when it rains outside. And the story ends the same, they never really help you fix it. I will move out of here ASAP!!!!! Talk to any resident here before you consider moving in, I am pretty sure most of them will tell you how bad it is to live here!!!!
Dont rent here. First, after you sign the lease they give you a waiver to ding that says it not their fault if you get cancer due to the chemicals or asbestos in the buildings. This place has a ton of green landscape, You'd think that would be nice but Its not, because the place is filled with citrus trees it attracts a crazy amount of bugs and ants. This place is literally infested with ants. They over ran my apartment the day after i moved in. The covered parking here provides no real blockage from the sun and the landscape crew constantly mowing or trimming or whatever makes its almost pointless to try to keep your car clean here. The've just undergone "Renovations" Which means some new carpets, vinyl flooring, resurfacing the counter and painting the cabinets. They've also put the cheapest appliances money can buy, dont expect to keep your electricity and water bill down with these units. Dog Friendly? Yes, but for an additional pet rent and only half of your deposit is refundable. Bottom line, Dont do it, You will regret it. This place sucks.
Loved the space and landscape! Note: (Im not a complainer but feel anyone considering this complex should beware and read this review) customer service... Thumbs down! Don't want to get to much into details so ill try and keep it short! Workorders took forever! Im pretty sure it wasnt maintenece because talking to them they never heard of any work order and jumped right on it without one! (maintenece very nice and very hard workers!) The office would just blame maintenance! You could tell the managers are a little unorganized! My biggest complaint is still to date... still fighting for my deposit! They claim we broke our lease, didnt clean the carpet and certain areas in certain rooms... we left it spotless! The only reason we are "being considered" for our deposit is we had all the reciepts and the contract was incomplete. After moving out 7 months ago, 4 visits, and 9 calls... were still waiting with promises everytime of a call back and soulution to the problem... still waiting. Beautiful place, nice pool. KEEP YOUR RECIPTS AND TAKE PICTURES WHEN TIME COMES TO MOVE OUT! Just want you to enjoy your time there and take this advice to save you the headache.
The new ownership of Mission Palms Apts has gone down hill from the last company. I have lived here for over two years. This last year has by far been the worst. Our vehicles get damaged by the renovation crews they have working here and there was no note on the damaged car and no one knows about it. Your covered parking is at the whim of the office to be revoked due to maintenance crews. The maintenance crews take weeks for them to come to fix anything and then they don't fix it right and have to come back two and three times to get it right. I had my truck stolen from the parking lot here as well. I would recommend finding some place else to live than here. Our lease is up in March and we are leaving.
I lived there last year for 6 month.....It was one of the biggest mistake of my life.....management other than all you guys complain...they are very RACIEST.....ohhh crap i don't want to continue on this....every time i think about it.....I blame the immigration.
