I just want to let everybody know that the maintenance team are providing great service they are very professional.I will like to thanks the resident that found a set of keys in the gym and returned then to the office.I will like to thx the staff people for keeping my keys save.I'm glad I have my keys back.thx to all
The apartment office decided to stop accepting packages so now I have to have everything delivered to my work office. I only work with 5 other people so my boss thought he was helping when he opened one of my packages...It happened to be lingerie. Shoot me.
A solid four stars. The staff is friendly, maintenance (generally) reacts quickly to problems and the grounds are clean. I've read reviews about not having much guest parking, but this is a problem I've never experienced. I must be in a part of the property that has ample parking. The business center and pool are nice, there is DVD rental, and free coffee in the front office. The cons are minor and are probably a reflection on Camden, the parent company. Valet waste (pay a dollar a day to have someone take your garbage to the dumpster for you) is not optional.
My husband and I visited Scottsdale AZ last year in April 2014. We wanted to move out here and find a new place to live, work and go to school. We looked at many apartments from all the way down south in Gilbert to all the way up in Scottsdale. After much looking, we came across Camden San Marcos apartment complexes. From the beginning to the end of our experience with them, we have had nothing but excellent service. They have been courteous and respectful. They listen to what we wanted and quickly found us an exact apartment with the size and location we have been looking for. Not to mention their pricing on there leases are very competitive and affordable based on the demographic and location. We have been very satisfied with Camden San Marcos apartments and highly recommend them to any one who is looking for a great place to live thats both enjoyable and affordable accommodated with many amenities like a dog park, fitness gym, heated swimming pool & jacuzzi, pick up trash service, movie rentals and the list goes on and on. Defiantly the spot to be.
I can honestly say that for the most part I loved our apartment, but I do have some things I think everyone should know before moving in. The walls/ceilings/floors are paper thin, you can hear your upstairs neighbors at all hours of the night and day. Most people don't realize how heavy they walk at 1 am. Also, they charge a ridiculous amount for move out. They quoted us $65 dollars for a carpet cleaning, seeing as how we did not have a pet and only had high traffic stains at the entryway. Got our bill today and they charger $195 for the carpets for a "pet treatment" for a pet we never had. If I had known they would charge that much, I would have called someone else. (They will not let you rent a carpet cleaner and do it yourself, they need a receipt proving a professional company did it) They added a new service called "Valet Waste" which is a joke. Our unit was located right next to a dumpster, but if we renewed our lease they would charge extra for this service that we would not have used. When we first moved in they were doing so many renovations, it made it hard to come in and out of the complex. They resurfaced the pavement and we had to park on the street. (there is also little guest parking so with 3 people and only 1 spot it made it difficult to find parking) Other than those things, this complex is great. Liz is amazing, and always ready to help. Norma was not very helpful or caring towards the residents, but I believe she is gone now. They are very clean.
