Rentals be aware don't move into this community its the worse experience you will ever have. After 8 years I moved out and I cleaned up the place it was your normal wear and tear use. Well they decided to keep my deposit. The manager is the WORSE HUMAN I've every had to deal with she's rude and a BULLY and their corporate office is just they same. They don't care about the residents they only care about filling up the community! According to the president of Greystar "it's about CUSTOMER SATISFACTION" YEAH RIGHT!!!!!
When I first visited the community I met Ana, she dressed professionally and was so polite even though she was helping me she still addressed any additional people that walked through the door, I loved it because she showed genuine concern for everyones time. She offered us refreshments and I felt she was looking for the best price and location of an apartment for us to see. We even met David he was the head of the maintance team, he said that he just upgraded that apartment and we were going to love it! He even said I would love the shower doors because he just installed them. She showed us the apartment and I fell in love.The next day I knew I wanted to hold on to the apartment, so with money orders in hand I met Assistant Manager Sam. I brought my friend because she was so happy to hear all the great things I told her, she had to see the apartment too, trust me at 70 years old she has seen the world and she was truly impressed. During the tour Sam saw 2 apartments that were not following the rules of the Valet Trash and he took pictures and told us that we must keep the community clean, said its a $50.00 fine. I loved it! Sam was dressed so professionally, he was so kind. He processed my application and money orders.He even showed my friend the apartment, she said she just might sell her condo to move in at The Laurels. Can you believe that the next day we went back, my husband and I were very impressed by the Assistant Manager Sam he continued to be dressed very professional, offered refreshment, clearly explained all the communities amenities, was down to earth, and so friendly. Yes, this is the 3rd time we viewed the apartment, we still love it like the first time! On the 3rd visit we met another office member Jesus he was so polite he jumped up just to provide additional sitting for my sister so she didnt gave to stand... Thank you for employing great staff for this amazing (Soon to be residents)
I have found the shining gem in Plantation with The Laurels at Jacaranda. This community is beautiful with its trees, plants and other foliage. Just moved in a couple weeks ago, and had a couple minor things that were not perfect. Luckily, staff is on point and quickly gets stuff done here. The management team and other staff members are so nice, professional and takes the time to create lasting relationships to make their residents feel at home. Many thanks to Wendy for all her hard work, and patience with me as I am very picky! I love my new home!
To be honest I loved this place but in reality its HORRIBLE I've had a/c issues since I first moved in at they have not been able to figure it out at all it runs my bills up to over 150$ which is horrible for a 1br 1ba. I tried to talk to them about it and the told me contact my rental insurance which is b.s. because now I cant even get reimbursed for it and it was their fault. The rent goes up so dramatically that everyone in here is moving. There are so many hidden fees that you never really know what your paying for. They wont even let me see my physical water bill one month I was gone on vacation and I still got a huge bill for water and no one was even home funny huh? I want my lease to be up so badly but they trap you so horribly with the drastic rent that its hard to even move and get somewhere else to stay. But all in all I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone and that is my opinion because they are some nasty people in the office that don't give a dam about anything. Just know what your doing before you get locked in here because they will suck you dry of every penny you have. I am stuck in a hole with this crazy FPL bill because of all these a/c issues so beware before you make your decision there are many many more places out there trust me !!
Great Location, peacefull, quiet, gated, 24 hr security...central location. really like it here for the location alone...you cant beat this part of town. if i had to name negatives...utilities should be included with the rent and the kitchen's could use an update. other wise....Great Place!
