Application fee was paid in full when looking here but the next day the older lady who showed me (and works in the office) and my fiancee around claimed we didn't do the joint app and need to pay it again for the second application. She said the day before we only needed the one application. It was a lie as she told us the opposite the day before. When she was confronted about blowing smoke after dropping $200 for the app, she claimed ignorance of everything she said the day before stating "I don't recall that". She lied or at the least was mistaken and wouldn't own it after being called out, costing me that money. We knew immediately to no longer look here. Shady business by their front office and they know and don't care. Beware!
Let me start by saying that I read the reviews online and ignored them. PLEASE DO NOT DO THAT! I had problems with this apartment before I even moved in. I had to do everything by fax because I lived out of town at the moment, and they claimed they did not receive my rental lease agreement that I had already signed. So they emailed another, and I noticed that they changed the lease agreement from 11 mths to 12 mths. I told them that I was not going to sign that document because I had already signed one for 11 mths and that's how I wanted it to stay. So fast forward, on the day I came to move in. The apartment was completely filthy. I took pictures on my phone. About a week later, after I had already cleaned the apartment, they sent the housekeeping cleaning lady to come "clean." This place has lots of stray cats, the PARKING SUCKS!! When coming home after a long day, be prepared to park three or four buildings down because there is absolutely no parking. They charge for covered parking, but most of them don't even have adequate lighting under it. They claim they have a courtesy office, but they do not. I called the "courtesy office," and my phone called was never returned. Needless to say, the real "courtesy officer" is the front office voicemail. The only good thing about this establishment is the space within the apartments. I would encourage you to find somewhere else to stay. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE LIKE I DID! P.S.- The front office staff claimed the cameras do not work on the lot. Seemed like they had no intentions of getting them fixed. How unsafe is that?
Wish i could give it zero stars. Maintenance is a joke. We had to wait 3 months to get our A/C fixed. We had a leak in our bedroom from another apartment which had ruined the whole wall and they just came and painted over it.. twice. There is a MAJOR cockroach infestation(fear factor sized roaches). The front desk is so rude and try to aviod talking to you so they dont have to fix any issues. Cant wait for our move-out date to come and many of our neighbors tell us they feel the exact same. Terrible place.
Seriously this is worst apartment ever! staff came in to tell me how to decorate my porch. all my cabinets are falling apart, the gym all the equipment is all broken. noisy right by the highway. My bathroom has leaked sense i moved in. PLEASE DON'T LIVE HERE! -10 stars!
Don't live here unless you want to be screwed over in the end. Seriously, we ended up paying $500 dollars after we moved out. I understand carpet cleaning but why would we spend a week cleaning if we were going to end up paying $100+ for unit cleaning? Add on about another $80 to replace light bulbs and the gate remotes which broke the 1st time we all used them. We didn't need them anyways since the gates were almost always broken. And get this, about 2 days after we received the $500 notice, we all received notices from a collection agency. Lets move on though. The staff, no not staff...just one woman in the office, the older one, was rude to me pretty much every time I went in to pick up a package. The pool was green for about 2 months then closed for another when they finally decided to fix it. The whole "trash valet" thing is dumb and you can't opt out. Parking is a nightmare especially when the gates are broken. You would think every unit would get at least 1 covered parking spot. Nope. I believe that'll be an extra $30 a month. The apartments in general are half-assed. Save yourself the money and don't rent here.
