This is a 5 star community. I just renewed my lease and I have to say... the only thing that tops the amenities of Fairfax Square is the staff. By comparison to other places I have lived in Fairfax, this has been by far the most pleasant experience.
Just resigned our lease for 2015 (at a locked in rate) because we had such a great 2014 here! Only a few small maintenance calls and they were quick to respond to each one. Nice clean property with friendly employees.
The property is wonderful! The office is very professional and I have never had any issues with them. Asma the Property Manager goes above and beyond her job duties and just with speaking with other residents, they feel the same. Jad is new to the office and always has a smile on his face, he is a great addition to the team. Maintenance is great and always fixes our issues within no time. I would recommend anyone to live at Fairfax Square. They are great!
DON'T TRUST THEM! 1. HIDDEN FEES ARE COMING TO MY MAIL BOX EVEN AFTER I LEFT THAT SPOT. 2. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BEYOND TERRIBLE. ( TRIED TO GET FIX MY SINK FOR ALMOST 2 MONTHS AFTER SEVERAL CLAIMS AND THE ATTITUDE WAS "WELL WE ARE ACTUALLY DOING YOU A FAVOUR". 3. I SINGED THE LEASE CONTRACT FOR $1650 AND END UP PAYING $2300 ( UTILITIES NOT INCLUDED ) ON MY LAST 2 MONTHS. AND OF COURSE THEY GOT ALL PAPERWORK HANDY AND CORPORATE POLICY STATES BLA BLA BLA... 4. EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU GO TO OFFICE WITH YOUR ISSUE AND YOU JUST FIND THAT NO ONE HAS AN AUTHORITY THERE TO SAY THINGS AND THEY JUST KEEP FORWARDING YOU FROM ONE WELL DESIGNED OFFICE ROOM TO ANOTHER. YOU HAVE TO WAIT A BOSS. MARKET IS BIG. THEIR PRICES ARE CRAZY. SO JUST TAKE AN ADVICE. DON'T BLAME YOUR WIFE, HUSBAND, ROOMMATE AFTERWARDS.
My wife and I have been living in Fairfax Square Apartments for about 3-1/2 years now. Granted, we wish we could afford a house with a garage, but maybe soon. The location is great. We’re between several strip malls with shopping, restaurants, and entertainment within two miles of the main office. We’re also off Main Street with the Fairfax City and Metro buses that have direct connections to George Mason University, Vienna Metrorail Station, downtown Fairfax, and old town Alexandria. The location is also about half way between Northern Virginia Community College and George Mason University, which is good for college students. Did I mention bus routes drive down Main Street and go straight to both schools? Asma and her staff are great. Any time there has been an issue with maintenance, they’re quick to respond. They have been quite friendly and professional. Many of them live right here in the complex and understand any concerns that need to be addressed. For amenities, I use the gym quite frequently and the pool is always crowded in the summer. The staff also holds regular meet-and-greets throughout the year so neighbors can get to know one another. Some include Thanksgiving, Independence Day, and recently Saint Patty’s day, did I mention the food at these events have been provided? For the complaints on this site about Asma and her staff, I believe many are unjustified. The entire staff has been up-front about everything to include the initial lease, lease renewals, pets, parking, and maintenance. For complaints about the facilities granted, they are 50 years old and may seem expensive, but not bad for this area. The facilities are in real good condition for their age, and for the price, please remember, this is the DC metro area, not Kansas. Prices for everything will be higher than average for everything including apartments … and houses. Fairfax Square, thanks for everything!
