THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO MOVE. ive been living here for 2 years. they dont fix anything, I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and my windows are covered in mold and they wont fix it. They don't care about the residents and the lady named connie is SO RUDE and always has an attitude. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT MOVING HERE!!!! I GIVE THIS A 0 AND EVERYTHING BREAKS EVEN WHEN TRY TAKING CARE OF THE APARTMENT. THEY USE CHEAP EQUIPMENT. HATE THIS PLACE CANT WAIT TO GET THE HELL OUT.
Worst place I have ever lived. Open cupboards the doors fall off everything clogs or leaks. We came home three times to squirrels inside our closet, bathroom and living room took three months to solve problem. Wont let us out of our lease. Mold an mildew problems I have been vomiting and coughing up blood for weeks. Neighbor juat murdered their child. I could go on for days. Ghetto!!!! Stay away!!! We r so stuck and stressed here. Ruining our health and lives.
Have you ever heard of a "compliment sandwich"? It is basically where you sandwich criticisms in between the positives of who/what you're criticizing. So let's start with a positive. Parking is really good. Okay, on with the criticisms. This place either screens very poorly or not at all. I suspected this when I first opened my mail box and found it almost completely few of mail from the past 4 tenants, all of which were apparently trying to escape bills/creditors. But my suspicions were confirmed my first night in the apartment. This place is more noisy than any apartment complex has a right to be. Expect to here music blaring, people fighting, kids screaming, adults screaming at their kids, and the winner of the World Door Slamming Championships practicing his skills at all hours of the night. Do not expect the management to do anything about horrible neighbors. I complained multiple times about my downstairs neighbors, and even called the police on them once, and nothing was done. I cannot overemphasize how noisy this place is. Do not live here if you want a good night's sleep. Actually, just do not live here. I guess a "compliment sandwich" is supposed to have another slice of bread, but I really have nothing else good to say about it. Avoid this place like the plague.
DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS!!!!! We looked at these apartments and put down a security deposit, however being unfamiliar with the area, we called both the sheriff and police departments after we got home. Neither had very promising comments about that part of town, so we called the Galloway office to get our money order returned and they refused to return our security deposit. Please do your homework first - and look into the management company - they have many, many complaints against them - as well as a strong legal department (for a good reason). They act all bubbly and nice when you visit them in person but are devious and deceptive in reality. I truly hope the office enjoyed a nice $150 lunch on us. Please, please don't sign anything unless you're sure you want to move into these apartments.
BEWARE!! No, Seriously. I feel I was connived and conned into living in Galloway Village Apartments. The first conversation that I had with anyone in the leasing office there was with a womn named Robin. I explained to her my situation and how the SOLE reason for my move was my dog. My dog is a mix breed that I had gotten off craigslist, so he doesn;t have any papers. He looks like a pit in the face, and he is mixed with a few bull breeds, I believe. According to one of the written policies there Leonidas (my dog) would have been a prohibited animal. I continued explaining that I would not and could not move in there if my dog could not come with me and that he has no temperment issues or anything remotely related! Robin then explained to me that there were a few residents currently there that had large dogs that were mixed with prohibited breeds and that if he had no history of violence and was a good dog then all would be fine. I then made arrangements to come for a walk through directly following that phone conversation. Not until after my lease had been signed had I heard another word about my dog. A womn named CONNIE then said that anything Robin had told me didn't matter because "there is no such thing as a verbal agreement." As for the status of the apartment its self.... wow. I could not believe. The walls as well as the door frames were filthy with fingerprints, the new carpet was not correctly laid and it was coming up in various spots, the outlets were physically FALLING OUT of the walls, the light switch in the bedroom as well as every outlet DID NOT WORK!! I DID NOT HAVE POWER IN MY BEDROOM MY ENTIRE STAY HERE! The reason I got from CONNIE as to why it was not fixed (we called many times & put in multiple work orders) was because we (my boyfriend and I) had not given permission for the maintenance staff to enter our premesis without us being present... aaaaannnd my boyfriend is literally - LITERALLY - home all day every day. The kitchen floor was dirty and stained, there was a hole in the carpet in the dining room (nickle sized). The A/C unit that had been installed into our WALL was NOT FOR A WALL, it was a WINDOW UNIT. So, it let in A LOT of air. I have been stared at and what i felt like as WATCHED as I would leave my apartment building during the day. MANY times CONNIE laughed in my face, talked over me, ignored me. I have personally seen, and my boyfriend has seen, these people start bad-mouthing residents infront of other residents! For example, he was in their office waiting to pay rent while there were a few other people waiting aswell. Connie is on the phone. Connies gets off and immediately turns to another femle in the office and makes rude comments about them. The person before my boyfriend pays. They leave. They get talked about. I have pictures and documents backing all of my claims. KNOW WHAT YOURE GETTING YOURSELF INTO!
