Great Place, Great Community, Friendly staff and the premises are up-kept very well. Maintenance staff is very responsive. Update: Had to update this review due to lack of organization via management staff. I was promised a garage closer to my apartment, told to wait a month to move to it and when the time came, they told me the garage was unavailable. Great Place, Great Community and Friendly staff doesn't suffice for the lack of competency and organization when business is needed to be conducted. Will be moving in august.

When we first moved in, Aug. 2013, we loved living here and was able to get questions answered and maintenance requests completed at a reasonable time. Every since Amanda left Shadow Creek, it is very difficult to get anything completed. It takes maintenance about a week to fix our leaking sink. We have two large dogs and asked them to call us when they were going to stop by (which they didn't do and left a note on our door each time saying they couldn't enter because of the dogs). When calling the leasing office, no one answers the phone. When you stop by, no one is there because they are always giving tours or on break. It is so frustrating working with the office (which is mainly Zerish at this time). She can't answer my questions, ever. I am looking forward to moving out in less than 2 months. We submitted our form, in person to Zerish, stating that we are leaving but then we receive an email from her stating that they never received it. I am so over dealing with them. Hoping the next two months fly by...

I lived in winter springs my entire life, went to winter springs high school and was born and raised here. When i was on tuscawilla road i saw a sign shadow creek rent 720 1 bdrm, i was extremely happy to be able to live so close to my friends and family and work as well, due to my medical needs its nice to have family close by since they are all doctors. I then get there and am told they don't have anything for 720 a month that all their apartments are 980+ a month. First lie right there. I met with Zerish Haroon, their leasing agent. I asked the process of getting Approved. That I wasnt sure if i wanted a one bedroom or a two bedroom but want to know if i can get approved. She assured me she could help me and would waive my fees if i signed up that day because im a veteran of the army. Well lie 2. she proceeded to hold an apartment without my consent and keep all my fees. I sent an email on april 24th about 2 weeks after i had gone in to see about possibly renting there, stating i was in the hospital and would get back to them on the following monday. This was in april. I then get an email on april 28th stating that she cannot hold an apartment for me and my fees were not refundable. I sent an email may 1st to her stating no that was not what she had told me ( was informed several times my fees all but the application were refundable). Now i have received my statement and see on 6/2 a check written in late may was just processed through my bank...... Zerish Haroon lied and stole money from me. I asked at least half a dozen times if my check was refundable and she stated if you dont move in "yes". I never asked to have an apartment held and i never signed a lease for a particular apartment.... STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE, AND ESPECIALLY ZERISH HAROON

Do not live here! Major mold issues! If you are honest people who want to be treated properly, do not move here! My newborn son and my family were exposed to mold for over a year. When we reported it, they painted over it the first time and then sent an unlicensed company in to assess and remediate it when it came back through the paint. They repeatedly lied about the license status of the company and refused to have any testing done on the mold. We broke our lease and now they are harassing us with fees for doing so. In reality, they owe us a large portion of our deposit becuase we left the apartment spotless with them only having to have the carpets cleaned. We suffered damage to our belongings, extensive medical bills, costs of having a licensed company come out to assess the work of their unlicensed company, and many other financial, physical, and emotional burdens. Recently, via word of mouth, I have found out that they have done this to at least 2 other people in over 6 years. I'm sure there are many more. At the time we left, one of our neighbors was leaving because there were fleas in their apartment when they moved in. As I previously stated, if you are an honest individual who believes in justice and being treated fairly, do not live here!

I have lived at Shadow Creek for a couple of months now and while I am absolutely in love with my own apartment and the amenities/community, I am extremely dissatisfied with the leasing office personnel. They have repeatedly miscalculated my payments and then charged me extra for their mistake. I've had to sign my lease more than once because of an office error on their part. There is way too little staff, which causes only 1 person to work at at time; this means that if a leasing agent is giving a tour or gone on a break, the leasing office is closed. Consequently, it is very difficult to get a hold of anyone in the office. In addition, phones calls are rarely answered and emails and calls are not returned in a timely manner. Once, I had a package (that I paid extra for faster shipping on) arrived on the day it was supposed to and because no one was in the leasing office DURING business hours, FedEx had to re-deliver the package the following day. The staff seems extremely disorganized, they are very difficult to deal with, and quite honestly, they appear lazy. I have even tried contacting management about the issues described above and not even management can return my calls.
