During my stay, there were several managers before they settled on "Vicky". She comes off as friendly until she wants to make her money. Then it's a different game. We were as respectful as can be. We never caused problems or complaints. We never said anything about noise or the marijuana being smoked regularly upstairs. We never broke any rules. The day that we were to move out, the manager was two hours late to the scheduled "walk-through". I called several times, mostly going to voice-mail because they do have caller id; I have seen it myself. Finally, I had to go the office. The manager circled the building before she entered my apartment. She charged me over two hundred dollars for a crack in the microwave door (the microwave works perfectly); twenty-five for "writing on the wall" but didn't specify where that money would go to; and fifteen dollars to go towards the blinds for the patio. Now, when the manager did the "walk-through", she noticed our cat (without addressing us) and said nothing to us; but instead tried to charge us an extra one hundred dollars for an "unauthorized pet" for whom who paid the pet deposit upon move in and every month we paid the "pet rent". That manager is a disgrace and a total tyrant. The receptionist, is an angel and I wish her nothing but success.
