I am a new resident here and I just absolutely LOVE how tentative and caring the office staff are. Tanja has been really hands on with my move in process. She took the time to check on me 1 week after my move-in date. My apartment was spotless but I had a small request to have carpet replaced because of my asthma. Tanja quickly responded to my concern with an appointment for maintenance to replace my carpet. The maintenance guys were very quick. polite, professional and they did an amazing job! Thanks Camden!
Just don't. I have lived in Camden since 2013. My first apartment was in the first building facing the pool. There was always loud music playing at the pool night and day. I could hear this in my apartment as well as the couple in the apartment next to me having conversations at a regular level. The walls are paper thin and the pool area projects sound like an amphitheater. Not ideal. I got talked into staying with an apartment on street level, building 4. I moved here in June, and I was robbed at the beginning of this month. The craziest part is the burglar had to have had a key to the patio area, which means that either my locks weren't changed, or someone from the complex let themselves in. They changed the locks, but I still don't feel safe here. To top it off, last year another resident that I work with was assaulted in the gated parking garage. The new "security" guards are an illusion. I asked to terminate my lease and was told no. There is NEVER any guest parking. My family has to park down the street at the library and take a risk. I was going to keep quiet about this until I was able to move, but I don't see things getting done unless I share with other people what a terrible ordeal it has been living here. There are some genuinely kind people in the leasing office, but overall Camden is just terrible, and as a whole, they could care less because the company doesn't care about their residents. The only good part about Camden is the rooftop view. My advice, just take pictures on the Jackson Bridge and live somewhere else. Update: The leasing office has been helpful recently, security has increased, and the staff is keeping the residents better informed. Hopefully the positive changes will keep coming.
I've been living here for two years and the price is great for a development in the heard of Old Fourth Ward/Downtown Atlanta. Views and amenities are great and the management staff is very accommodating and helpful with addressing needs and concerns in a timely manner. I would recommend Camden Vantage to anyone.
Such a great place to live. Very close to all downtown, midtown, krog street market, Virginia Highlands. Camden vantage is one of the few places that puts a huge effort in improving the security of its residents. Love the people at the leasing office. They have always been so helpful to me.
Pros: - Management: Japera Marshall was very instrumental in helping me choose Camden over other options. Ms. Marshall helped me navigate the paperwork necessary to complete my move-in process seamlessly. She also provided invaluable assistance, and is the catalyst for my choice. She's amazing, and makes you feel like you're not just a part of a business venture, but a family endeavor. - Property: The overall property in terms of aesthetics is breathtaking! It is always clean, and I have not run into any problems with my apartment. My apartment is spacious, and I love the closet space (two words: walk-in). Cons: - Guest parking is HORRIBLE! There are two designated lots that fill up every night/weekend. Most of my guests risk parking on the curb, but can come out to a ticket or a boot on their car. The property is still downtown, and most people do not feel comfortable parking off of the property. - Pretty pricey, especially since I'm a college student. You're paying for rent, water, power, parking, insurance, valet trash (if desired), furniture, cable/wiFi (if desired), etc.
