Cant say anything bad. I like my place, love my closet! Thanks for putting in the new grills by the pool! So far everyone in office and on the maintenance have been very nice and helpful! I wouldn't mind working in the office just to help them out. I was in there working on my homework and saw how busy they were. It takes a lot of patience to deal with some of the people that were just in there to complain, not sure if I am cut out for that put I would be a good sales person because I really do like living here! Also, I do not have the same problem with parking, I simply rented a private spot, makes it easy. So I would give Bella Springs a good rating and yes, I would definitely refer them to friends. Check them out!
My husband and I have spent the last 2.5 years with Bella Springs, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone in this area searching for an apartment! I want to thank the office staff for their hospitality and outstanding service over the course of our stay there. It was bittersweet saying goodbye!
I lived in these apartments from 2012 to 2015 and only left them because I moved out of the state. This is the safest and best looking area to live in within the Colorado Springs area. Our rent was affordable and NOT raised routinely at the end of the yearly lease as done in some other complexes. The staff changed while we were here, but both were courteous and helpful, volunteering to stay late for me to pick up packages after hours. Maintenance was not 24x7, but they can be contacted for emergencies and responded within 15 minutes the one time I had to call after hours. I've dealt with 3 different maintenance workers (over 3 years) and each was polite and exceeded expectations. Also, we've had no problems with bugs or loud neighbors. The most common complaint about these apts is the parking. Free parking spaces are limited and can be hard to find if you come home late at night. There are plenty of paid parking spaces available that are covered and will be right by your building. We paid the $30-35 for parking and its been great having a reserved and covered spot. If you're moving here, I would highly advise paying for a spot. If that amount breaks you, you might find a less expensive complex Coming home to a full parking lot late at night in the snow would be miserable. When I first moved here I looked at all of the apts in the area. I have friends that chose the other complexes and they all regret it. Bella Springs has much better snow removal than these competitors. My friends at the Talon (or whatever it is called just south of these on Voyager) give me horror stories about not having hot water at 2 separate places within their complex. The only negative that I can think of is that the gym is tiny and won't work for a real weightlifter. If you aren't planning on using your apt for serious weight training and you're moving to the Springs or Monument area, this is your place.
If you have any respect for yourself PLEASE do NOT rent from here! First off, if the folks above you weigh over 100 pounds, they will sound like a herd of elephants. Worst of all, the parking is absolute BS, they allow non-residents to park illegally in fire lanes and other non-parking zones. As a TENANT I had to leave my vehicle across the street at Progressive because there was no parking available at 9:30pm on a Wednesday night. But yet, residents and non-residents were parked illegally all over the complex. On top of that, your water is shared with others. For example, I had to pay for 246 gallons of water that was "split in half" for just 5 days with the people above me and yet I hadn't even moved in yet. There are more covered parking stalls, than free stalls, which to me is fraudulent. Also, the thermostats are incorrectly placed in terms of height, therfore your electric bill in the winter will be more than a 2000sq ft house. Again, do NOT rent from here especially because they LIE about upfront charges as they charged us TWICE for the same stuff.
These apartments are a great place to live, but I pay way too much to be living here and driving around for 45 min to find a parking spot. It's ridiculous! I'm not the only one that has this problem, their are many people that also complain and have the same issue. I think instead of painting these apartments, they should of built a parking lot. If I wanted to pay for a garage port I would have gotten that. I don't feel I need to be home at certain time just to get a parking spot. Future wise I think you guys should look into that.
