Great property, beautiful setting, perfect location, awesome amenities. The staff has been impeccable; service oriented, knowledgeable and very accommodating. I've lived here before, I would again, I came back due to the location. I'm staying because of the staff and the awesome views.
I've been here for about a month, and love it so far. I had read a number of reviews complaining about noise in the building, but I've barely heard a thing. I can barely even hear my roommate 15 feet away. The walls definitely keep sound out. Camden is in the middle of EVERYTHING. About a half-mile from both Las Olas and Himmarshee, so you're close to all of the nightlife. If I had a complaint, it's that a couple appliances have already broken and required repairs. On the plus side, they've all been repaired within 36 hours of my requests.
The entire security team as well as the maintenance department Fransisco Flores and maintenance Supervisor Mike Kaiser have exceeded my expectations. They work hard and have been beyond helpful in making my stay here great. I want to thank them.
the building itself is actually a great place to live, very nice and comfortable. However I'd like to comment on the people the work in the office, in particular Jason: worst person ever, do never trust what he says. We extended our stay 2 extra days and agreed to pay 2 days prorated at the month-to-month rate. Obviously moving somewhere else, we lost access to the online system and couldn't make the payment online. On the moving date we gave the office our new address, so that they could send us an invoice. First: They never sent us an invoice by mail (or email). Second. they charged us a $475 late fee.... ridiculous. Third: I called the office and Jason and after fighting with him on why they should waive the late fee cause they didn't invoice us, he told me "don't you know how to write a check?" ..... wow.... great customer service. Camden, you can't promise great customer service and have people that respond that way. The phone call was recorded and I already notified the corporate office of his behavior. For all future residents, don't ever deal with him.... assuming he will still be there....
NO STARS. No matter how many fake in-house reviews are posted don't be tricked. Walls are thin, hallways are dirty, management does nothing, appliances barely work and security is a joke. I've tried to work with them but the level of service is very very poor. There are much better places within the downtown Ft Lauderdale area.
