Do not buy and do not rent from them ! 1) Very expensive rent for apartment that looks really cheap compared to the price. 2) Very noisy area, although it is close highways, but the construction makes a crazy noise. during every day for few hours. 3) The appliances are very cheap and very low-quality, our washing machine was destroyed and we asked several times for them to fix it and we got no response for two months, we had to send our laundry to a laundromat every week and to pay from our own money. In addition, we tried to discuss with the crest's Vice President her name is Doreen and the only thing she has done instead of helping us was arguing with us about the first time that we were start complaining about the washer machine. 4) One day we received an email from the building that on the date...will be an inspection test. I was on my day off so I was at my bedroom, all of a sudden I heard the bedroom door opened and I saw bunch of guys came to inspect the apartment without any permission they just came and open the apartment door. When I called to Doreen again the "Vice President" she said it's an outside organization and there is nothing to do about that. I never knew that the law allows any person to open any apartment they want and just walk around the apartment to get some fresh air. 5) Last thing and the WORST of all. My wife and I went on leave for a month and a half. We left the key to my sister in law she slept in the apartment for one night and noticed that there is a mouse around the apartment. At the same moment we called the building to complain in order to get an exterminator to solve the disgusting problem. But, as we expected, we did not receive any response from the building in order to solve the problem, even though we left them the opportunity to get in touch with us and/or my sister in law to make an appointment with her and take care of the problem. but they didn't. We called again to Doreen the "Vice President" of the building, I wouldn't let her to manage a board's shifts. So she start argue again and at the end she promised that someone will be there shortly to take care of the problem. The first time that came a professional guy to solve the problem was a week and a half after we came from the vacation (that means almost two months from the time we called) and at the same time it was 18 year old boy without hurting him but he's not so sure what he did and tried to find holes without leaving the apartment traps. The time after a real exterminator came and left us few traps and all he said that the building don't know how to take care of this kind of problems and there is a lot of mouse in the building because they coming from the ground when the construction people working there. BOTTOM LINE I suggest don't rent an apartment from them The worst service I ever got Bad maintenance and the Vice President - DOREEN that she supposed to help just make the situation to be worse.
We lived there for two years and we suffered from the place. The apartment very low quality and everytime something else goes wrong. Shocking service and the price is very expensive. Especially there is a huge amount of MICE in the building, I guess it comes from downstairs where the garbage room located and it's disgusting there and it's open 24 hours a day. I won't even pay $1000 for a tiny apartment when they ask $1800
I give it 2/5 stars. (40% satisfaction rate) 1. LOCATION: Very close to NJ highways and shops. Convenient if you live and work mainly in Jersey. 2. NEIGHBORHOOD: The area is fairly quiet and safe. 3, SALES STAFF: These oft-swapped workers are usually kind and diligent, unlike their managers. (See below) 1. OVERPRICED: The only place more expensive than here is NYC. The Crest at Fort Lee is just a wannabe luxury property that uses gimmicks to charge premium. You learn to see past them once you move in, but you end up staying because they charge you for move-out and/or you're too lazy (and wealthy enough) to move for a clearly better deal. Get a roommate if you're single. 2. MIKE MIN: This "Assistant Property Manager" is very uncooperative even with petty things, and has weird attitude issues. May have inferiority complex to residents... Christine, the Property Manager, does very little to address this or any other issues on the property. 3. LOCATION: Not so convenient (relative to the distance) if you want to go to NY. 4. CONSTRUCTION: Noise transference is bad -- you can hear your next door neighbors easily. Carpeted floor does little to block kids' running noises from overhead, and if you live in lower floors, you can hear and feel the vibration from the garage doors daily. Also, the entire complex is actually constructed with surprisingly cheap building materials, (takes a trained eye) lending itself to quality problems, such as ceiling leaks and boiler issues. No hardwood floor option also means more dusty interior. 5. BREAKDOWNS: Resident-only swing gate breaks almost on a monthly basis. Even the building entrance, which uses key card, sometimes stops working/unlocking, forcing you to use other working doors. At least these issues are fixed within 1-2 days... 6. LACKING FACILITY: Despite paying HUNDREDS of dollars for your "amenity fees," the gym is poorly equipped for good workouts. Though all the cycles have TV screens, they're only for fancy appearance -- there's NO connection to TV. Outdoor pool means undeserved premium charges during any season other than summer. Indoor half-court is frequently plagued by resident kids inviting non-residential kids around town to come play, making it hard for you to use it when you need it for a good reason. Also, resident room is closed when the management office is, (How is that "Resident Room" then? Surely they mean "Potential Customer Bait.") All in all, a big waste of money. If you lived elsewhere, that's money you could spend on membership to a real, premium gym, such as Equinox, LA Fitness, etc. If you have money to burn, it's your money, but I'd look elsewhere first for much, much better deals.
A disaster .. .. The management is POOR , no knowledge and no customer focus. Skiff and brenda are incompetent and truly not friendly.. They have a new guy Mike, who has no business knowledge
