HORRIBLE. management is a complete joke, the turn over rate in the office speaks for its self. No one here knows how to be professional, the apartments are beautiful, cheap finishings and carpets and the obnoxious freight train going by ever 30 mins are the only physical down fall to the entire complex itself. I moved simply because the office was incapable of professionalism. Contacted a lawyer in regards to the situation actually, speaking with SEVERAL other renters in my building they are experiencing the same problems. No communication. I am a very easy going person, living at river glenn was nothing but a hassle. do yourself a favor and DONT move here. ... not to mention i had a bed bug issue.....DISGUSTING. im not sure what is worse the complex management or the bug situation.
I've been living here for not long and I can tell you that I am not impressed with the management. You contact them for basic things and it is like pulling teeth to get a response from them. The manager and assistant manager are not on the same page. You keep hearing well I have to wait for so and so to get back and talk to her first and vice versa... I keep hearing the excuse is that it is under new management but they have been here for a little while, they should have a handle on it by now. I will say that it is beautiful apartments and overall appears to be a nice location for kids.
I am a resident and I have garage parking but no opener for the door. it would take .minutes to program one but the office says it has to come from the supplier which could take some time. the door was broken and open for months when they fixed it why didn't the get the openers? the office says I can cancel if I don't like it. I find the new management rude and insensitive. the last people were much better. I don't know if I will renew when my lease is up.
We've lived here for a little over 4 months now. There wasn't many tenants in our building when we moved in so this place was really nice. A little over a month of living here everything started to take a turn for the worse. We started noticing things that you dont usually notice when you look at a place. All the trim around the doors were cracked and covered up with paint. The keeper holes dont line up with the door, so doors dont shut properly. The paint job on the walls are horrible. The joint compound on the drywall wasnt sanded down. There are paint drips on the carpets, kitchen floors and on the balcony. The noise is another problem. You can hear everything and everyone around you. You can hear people walking by your front door, you can hear your neighbors alarms, conversations, tv, and you can hear your upstairs neighbor stomping around. The balcony was a nice feature until you actually walk out onto it. The balcony is just boards that aren't covered with any other material. The wood is chipped, frayed. Not good for walking barefooted on. Outside the apartment there is a breezeway, whihc has to huge windows at each end. Good idea, except it lets every living creature in. (Birds, spiders, beatles...etc) The stairwells are filled with spiders and spider webs, and dead bugs. Every light fixture outside of the building is covered with spider webs, and decent size spiders. The hallway and stairwell floors are covered with these things. The trash compactor is located near the leasing office and its used by all 8 buildings. Which each building has at 30+ apartments. Its always full with trash lined up along side it down the ramp. Maintenace isn't very good here. The maintnace workers putts around all day on their cart. They arent very usefull. The garage door was broken in our building for over a month. It was stuck up. No big deal right, but whats the point of paying 25 extra a month per car if anyone can park in there when its open all the time. They've come into our apartment to change a filter unannouced. The elevator was broken for almost a week, and numerous people have told managment about it and nothing was done for a week. The monthly rent isn't bad for what you get, but considering you have to pay for: Gas, Water, Sewer, Trash, Electric, Monthly Pet Rent. It adds up and its not worth it. Dont bother using the air conditioner or heater, they work great, they also make your electric bill hit almost $150 a month for a 2 Bed 2 Bath apartment. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. Remember looks can be deceiving.
