Best apartment I've ever lived in! A LOT of maintenance upgrades and repairs have been done recently, and the management staff has been extremely supportive. In addition, even though I DID have some repair issues, the maintenance staff was at my door almost before I hung up the phone! The apartment I had (a 3-bdrm/2-bath) was in excellent move-in condition: carpets were newly shampooed, walls repainted, and fixtures all working properly. It had been well-cleaned also, and I made sure I left the apt. in the same condition when I moved out. I had to break the lease after 11 months, but the staff worked with me, and as a result, I did not have to complete the terms of the original lease. (you can imagine how grateful I am for that!) I left the apt as I found it--walls repaired, appliances clean, and carpets shampooed--ready for the next tenant. This is an excellent apartment!
I am giving it a 2 because I enjoyed the friendly staff and they have Fios. Kim in particular. Unfortunately they never fixed my fridge my entire duration there. It constantly spilled brown water on the kitchen floor, my socks soaked it up nicely and I had to replace food a lot, spent a lot of time sniffing for spoilage. The balcony had some rotten wood planks, my interior doors had patched holes. It is not an expensive place but I it would have been nice to have a decent carpet etc. oh wait maybe there will be decent carpet for the next person because I was charged near $1000 for the carpet and other misc items when I moved out even though the carpet was 4 years old when I moved in on top of 2 months extra rent for moving out 2 months early. Advice: Don't ever plan to break your lease here, it will cost you around $3k if you don't want your credit affected.
