DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!! If I could rate negative I would. Don't be fooled by the nice apartments it's not worth living here. The crime is awful. I paid for a gated community yet the gates never work. I want out my lease after reporting stolen items and a shooting with in the apartment complex. They expect me to pay the fee and wait 60 days to leave after calling and leaving messages for the last month bc they are never in the office and don't call you back. So technically that 3 months of rent and a full months rent cancellation fee to break my lease. In situations like this they should be apologizing and asking what they can do to help and make you happy. Yet NO they expecting something a ton of money out of me and I can bet money they will find a reason to keep my deposit even though the apartment is in the exact conditions I received it in. I'll keep y'all posted on that. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!!!!
I was a resident at Indigo Park living on the 3rd floor January 2010-December 2010. I fell down the stairs, broke my ankle and had to move in December 2010 due to I had had 2 surgeries and the Dr. said walking up and down the stairs was hindering my healing process. I spoke to Brittney in the office regarding the matter and she said I would have to wait until January because there was no availabilities on the ground floor and I presently have 8 screws and a plate in my ankle which Brittney also stated there was no liability for residents injured on the premises which is ridiculous. But prior to moving,I had 1 month left on the lease and she refuse to waive that 1 month, so I had to do what was best for my health, MOVE. Indigo put me in the credit bureau which doesn't matter because I met another previous resident that informed me of the bad experience they had and they're living in a $250,000.00 home though Indigo put them in the credit bureau as well. "BAD BUSINESS!"
If Negative stars were an option, I would do so. This must be the absolute worst place to live in the history of apartment complexes. Please, College students, and seasoned apartment renters, BEWARE! Do not be allured by the nice amenities, and positive looks and lies they spread. They are vindictive, highly unprofessional, and do not fulfill their obligations. We lived there for 3 years, and just moved out in June. You are required to give 60 day notice of move out regardless of whether your lease is ending or not, and they promise to help ease the move experience by re-leasing your unit, and never even list it as available. Then they take your entire security deposit for "supposed" damages that were of their own fault. The last unit we had with them, as we had 3 units over our 3.5 year stay at indigo park, the unit flooded, and caused significant damage, even mildew and mold and we were told that they could not replace this. We had to live in these types of conditions. Finally, we found another place to live, and absolutely love it; however, we moved out June 20, 2015, notified them in April 2015, and were not offered any type of lease break options. They have been through nearly 5 General Managers in the almost 4 years that we have been there, and also, maybe triple that amount of general staff. The maintenance team is absolutely useless, they are the most ill-equipped, and untrained of any maintenance staff I have ever seen. Furthermore, there are more issues than you could ever imagine, and to top it all off, the amount of college student noise and partying is intolerable and very invasive. Would never recommend this place, and would NEVER live there again! Cortland Partner's Corporate team was the most help with getting our lease closed and finalized, and then they still took every penny of our security deposit, for an apartment unit that was in relatively perfect condition other than damages from their own faulty equipment such as the flood. Regardless of any other review you read, BEWARE, and choose another place to live! Vastly overpriced for majorly low service and quality. 6-10 months out of the year the "beautifully pictured" pool is either dirty or unavailable, and closes at very early hours such as 8pm.
If I could give them negative stars then I would! This place is WAY to pricy for the actual services that it offers. First and for most, management SUCKS! If you have an issue with anything going on at Indigo, DO NOT GO TO MANDI! She is the WORST manager I have ever dealt with. She may ACT like she cares, but as soon as you leave she's going to go tell everyone in the office about your situation and they're going to laugh about it, oh, not to mention, if it is not something she wants to deal with, she'll make sure she tell you she doesn't care about the situation and do things her way anyway. The only way to get anything done is to call Corp, and that's IF they answer. Then the crew, J, is AMAZING. The dyke they got don't do NOTHING! if she does come out to fix anything, you might as well call J the next day because it's gone break down or not even be fixed. You would be better off paying way cheaper for better customer service than living here. I AM ONLY ONE PERSON BUT I SPEAK FOR MORE THAN ONE PERSON LIVING HERE!
Terrible Experience...Poor management and even worse maintenance! I would not recommend this apartment community to anyone. The maintenance group is a joke and cannot fix anything right even after multiple attempts! After lease expiration, Indigo Park offers a "convenient" month-to-month option for nearly TWICE the normal monthly rent! Not very convenient in my opinion....
