I love living at The Lodge! I moved in a month ago and it has been a great experience so far. It is convenient and the girls in the office are great! They made moving in so easy. Also, I work weird hours and so far have not had a problem finding a place to park.
I moved here in April and LOVED the management, they were absolutely excellent! Super friendly, knew me by name, always answered my calls in a timely manner and took care of all my maintenance requests quickly. Since the new management has taken over its been terrible. I can't wait to move out. I've called 15+ times since October about my hot water heater leaking into my closet and possibly causing mold and have been told its not in the budget to replace it, but would get fixed eventually and it still hasn't been fixed. No one ever returns voicemail and no one is ever in the office. Its practically impossible to get a hold of someone. When I filled out my notice to vacate form and was asked why I was leaving I replied with my hot water heater issue. I have asthma and allergies and my symptoms have gotten significantly worse. The office attendant told me my dogs would probably like a yard anyway...I would never recommend this place to perspective renters. By far the worst place I've lived.
Signed our lease beginning of August 2015. The management with CRES was amazing, would have given them 4 or 5 stars. They'd always answer the phones and answer any questions. SHORTLY THEREAFTER another company took over. Worst customer service I could have ever imagined. Our A/C broke towards the end of August (when it was still 80-90 degrees outside). It took us FIVE DAYS TO EVEN GET SOMEONE TO COME LOOK AT IT!!! Put a few zip ties on it and said I hope it holds, let me know if it quits again!.. You're kidding, it took us five days for us to get you out here and now you're hoping it holds. Then in December our heat suddenly quit one day and we noticed the temp dropping around 1030 that night. Thankfully the maintenance guy returned the call within minutes and said he'd come within 15 minutes and was able to help us out. Our ceiling/bedroom window was leaking water in one night. To be told there's something wrong with the way the balcony is above us is leaking and coming in. Let's spray some KILZ on it and we FINALLY received a notice (roughly 3 or so months later) that someone is coming to look into them. I hope it isn't growing mold by now.. ridiculous to pay so much towards something so crappy! Do not recommend. Won't ever recommend. GO SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE FOR SURE! We were also told when we moved in that all ground level floors may have a BBQ grill on their patio, just not any upper level floors on balcony. Now to be told by this new company that ALL grills must be removed ASAP.
I moved out of these apartments in December, thank goodness!!!!! I COMPLETELY agree with the previous two reviews. With CRES management, it was AMAZING. Constant emails to see what they could do for, if I ever needed anything, they were on top of it. The new ownership was HORRIBLE! I could rant on all day about it. Basically, they did not stay on top of anything, they were very unorganized, and had no clue what they were doing. Half the time no one answered and no one was ever there. When I broke my lease, the management was all over the place, trying to charge me extra money, I had to get all of our previous emails, and my lease and bring it in there and talk to them multiple times! It was a MESS! I had my apartment professionally cleaned, and I was expecting my ENTIRE deposit back, and they were all confused about that as well and I still have not received it. I was told I would be called back and they would get this taken care of, NOPE. I moved out December 12th! Its been WELL over 30 days!!!! I did call today and it was a new manager, so we will see how this goes... Its sad but at this point, I would not recommend this place anymore.
I used to love it here. CRES took care of the property, cared about problems, and the staff even knew me by name. Now this new company came in and they're completely awful. They don't care, they're never there during their posted office hours, it's impossible to get mail, and even the maintenance crew hates the new owners. I work overnights, and I regularly get woken up by them doing work on the apartment above or next to us, and they never even let me know what's going on. The old management company would call and ask if I'd have a problem with it, but these people don't care at all. Don't rent from them.
