I have lived at Larkspur Place for 11 months and it has been a nightmare. The apartment itself is nice but the management and Holland Residential is awful. I have made numerous complaints about noise and not a single thing has been done. When you try to call Holland, if you're lucky enough to get a call back, they are rude and no help at all. When you're lease is up, be prepared for a HUGE rent increase. If I didn't sign a new lease, my rent would go up 52%. Who would pay $1250 for a small 2 bedroom apartment?? It's ridiculous. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I also had a friend that lived there but moved out as soon as her lease was up because of the terrible management and rent increase. TERRIBLE!!
Management was nice enough to send me actual photos of my apartment when i was contemplating moving in. The vaulted ceilings are tan walls with white trim are a nice touch and the wood fireplace is awesome. There are plenty of windows and the layout is decent. Some of the negatives are that they walls are quite thin. I can hear the person the apartment next to mine snore at night. The window insulation is pretty bad in the winter. Expect to keep your heat on all day/night if you like it toasty warm. In my opinion these are nice apartments but if you are looking for something a bit more economical you can find cheaper. At larkspur you have to pay water/trash/elec which adds up at the end of the month.
Living here is quite affordable and you get more then what you might find at the same price, even more. My apartment is completely remodeled and they did a fantastic job picking the countertops, flooring, and cabinets. They are not the best quality, but look nice and make you feel like your in a brand new home. The gym is small, but works and if you don't like the gym, theres a great place down the road that is very upscale gym for cheap. I'm very pleased with my apartment and would suggest it to friends and family.
