We have lived here for over 3 years now. We've lived in a 2bd townhouse-style unit and now we are in a 2bd flat. The good: convenient location (close to toll roads, Ralphs and Vons less than .5mile away, schools nearby), the complex is not too big, and a very responsive maintenance unit. (David and Fran are freaking great!) The bad: office staff needs improvement - when we moved from the townhouse unit to our current unit, we should've received $600 back for our original deposit and overpayment of the last month's rent, but we only received $200. They *did* fix it, but it took about 3 months! Part of the problem is that the staff changes so often. EXPENSIVE for the area - there are definitely better deals out there, especially with the current state of our economy. DOG OWNERS - I *love* dogs, but the dog owners in this community have a BIG problem - they don't clean up after their pets. In the past month, I've seen 12-14 dogs doo in the grass and tot lot areas. ONLY TWO have cleaned up after their dogs, NONE being in the tot lot. The *biggest* problem is parking, be prepared to walk home from the Vons parking lot if it is after 9pm, because there is NO way you'll find parking.
Stay away people!! Stay Away. The staff is horrible, always hard to get a hold of and NEVER coming through on their word, plus always changing and lazy. Not to mention PARKING. Give me a break. They say they enforce the rules but it's a load of junk and it means that if you get home anytime after 7pm there's NO parking. It started as a nice place to live and in a matter of 2 months is now a place we want out of. Don't be fooled by the people at the leasing office feeding you BS. DO NOT MOVE HERE! Not to mention we found out a guy was murdered here. Nice place, huh?
We lived here almost 2.5 years and no huge problems. What problems we did have staff took care of reasonably quickly. Office staff very helpful and understanding. Parking after 11pm or so sucks though as residents dont park in their garages and parking rules are not enforced.
