Me & my husband moved in April of 2015, it's now March 2016. We've been, in general, happy here (we're low maintenance & easily pleased). There's been a few problems, (i.e. no hot water for over a month, hard to find any guest parking, an actual murder occurring close by our apartment, etc...) but they've mostly been handled by the management & office team (when you can reach them). Until now. We went out of town for a week in February & they towed our truck. The truck that they've had on their records as being ours since moving in. We own 3 cars, (we're trying to sell one, but even with 2) with only one assigned carport, you do the math. When we got back & discovered the missing truck, we tried to call the office (multiple times) & while the manager, Monica, wasn't available, the different underlings (Shelby & Nick) that we talked to assured us of getting a call back soon, without even giving us the towing company information. This happened many time over the course of 3 WEEKS... today, March 9th, 2016, we finally got a call back. Unfortunately it was only to be informed that it's in the lease agreement that they can/will tow a car that's been sitting for more than 96 hours; that they "cannot" do anything to compensate us for the 3 weeks they've been dragging their heels on informing us of where we can even find our vehicle; & when we asked for her assurance of help, Monica literally replied that she wouldn't do anything. How nice of this place to rack up the charges at the towing company for us (as usually they charge a per day space rental fee). This whole experience combined with the fact that after our lease is up, our new rental "agreement" is about $250 more (or$450 if we go month to month) we will NOT be renewing our lease. We definately would not recommend this place to any of our friends. God forbid you go out of town to visit family or anybody for longer than 96 hours!

Bad service and communication skills. Was treated poorly and wasn't given money back, billings was inaccurate. Monica in the office assured me I would get some rent back and we'd leave it at that, long behold I owe them $500+. They did not provide all the details... No compassion. Will not recommend after this mishap.

Absolutely one of the worst apartments, not even sure where to begin. Management is some of the rudest people you will meet. When you first move in they are super nice and smiles, but as soon as there is an issue their true colors come out. They refuse to stand by their word, before signing the lease agreement me and my wife were promised by Monica that the carpet would be changed and the vents cleaned before we move in. As the person who lived here before smoked, and the walls were covered with yellow residue. All of this was supposed to be taken care of before we moved in. Of course we being young didn't think this through and signed the lease agreement before the work was done, believing Monica to keep her word. Unfortunately none of the things that they promised were done, and on our move in day we were forced to move into a apartment that smells like cigarettes. We have tried to get them to move us to another unit, but they refuse to do that. DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO BE LIED TO AND PAY TOO MUCH FOR A BAD APARTMENT. GOOD LUCK.

The promises of low rest disappear after the first year when rent is hiked $100, and when you approach saying you were assured any move in deals would be extended to you, they simply deny it. Parking is a JOKE. If you live on the south of the property and have two cars, plan n parking one up to 10 min walk on the South side of the facility. Don't be fooled by pretty smiles, well dressed and mannered sales folk, your rent will increase upon threat of a $200 increase if you go month to month, annually. Also you only get one gate opener even if you have two cars. We have lived here for two years in order to move without breaking a lease, we are now paying $1500+ in rent- we came in in late December of 2013 with a rent of $1000. They get you in and then drive up the prices. If they tell you something get it in writing.

Reasons not to live here; -They tried to scam me out of my $100 hold -They force you to pay an additional $20/m on a fancy Bluetooth door lock you -People get murdered here (literally) -The parking is worse than Levi Stadium during the Super Bowl -They overcharge for rent...seriously. It's Fair Oaks, not Folsom. But it's probably because they wasted so much money turning it into a modern complex that they now take it out on residents -They could somehow magically squeeze a parking garage into this place and that probably still wouldn't solve the parking issue.
