Piss poor! I have lived here for over 3 years. In that time my rent went from under 700 for a 2 bedroom to over 1000. They claim its gated and has security but they don't. The gates remain open all day and don't close until around 7ish, and thats when the gates are working. Unlike the security staff who do not work at all. The office crew are generally very slow at getting things done, especially maintenance wise. This place IS NOT worth the money at all. Please save yourself the trouble and go down the road. On the up side the people in the office are nice and friendly but thats about as much praise as I can give this place. Daily we have bums going through our garbages and I have seen over 3 cars get stolen from this place. Rent here at your own risk, and don't say you werent warned.
Apartments have good floor plan for the price and the staff are always nice and helpful. I miss it but had to move due to job relocation.
Downside: 1. Totally insecure San Valiente is plagued by robberies since a month, and the management is turning a deaf ear, no matter how serious the situation is getting. It looks like some serial thief has started living out here and has decided to rob each and every house that's going to be left empty by tenants going out for work. Many a times, one robber or the other trouble maker bangs on the doors of the houses scaring away the renters. No security cameras or proper safety locks to the apartments. The management will rather be interested in sending you notices to maintain an ultra beautiful patio and aesthetics than serving the safety interests of the tenants. Zero moral motivation from the management, they act as if they don't care! 2. Poor maintenance department Also, these days the maintenance has gone abysmally low. The management doesn't care to bother for weeks if the roof top leaks or if the bathroom flush breaks. Fed up by calling them again and again to get some attention. 3. Worst carpets We have been living since three yrs. When we started we got almost 2 yr old dirty carpet. They never change it no matter how many times we ask for. Its a five year old carpet now, bugs and dirt. We are counting days to move out!! Brighter side: Reasonable rents and not bad floor plans. Bathrooms and kitchens are way spacious than many other apartments of the same kind.
Ummm where do I start? I wished there was a rating zero. I have been renting for a while and this is the worst place i have ever lived. First of, management. .. they are veryb rude and unprofessional with the exception of Wendell. They call it San Valiente Luxurious apartment homee but trust me when I tell you this, there is nothing luxurious about it. The community itself looks kept from the outside but the inside of the untits looks like a buck! Old and cheap looking cabinets etc. I got lied to when I initially moved in there the Clay one of the guys that works in the office told me what my rent will be and when I received the first rent, it was 60 dollars over what i have been told initially. I called the office to inquire why my bill was so high when I lived alone, the went on to tell me that, it was for water, sewage, trash and tax! I was like then why my water bill was so high, they went on to tell me it was billed collectively! Like hell i wasn't told that when I signed the lease! Maintance is horrible! It takes them weeks to answer to any maintenance request! One time i was home when one of the maintenance guy came to finally changed my light bulb... I asked him why it took so long just to change a light bulb... he told me that they only have 3 mainenance guys and one of them is per time! Can you imagine for a place that claims luxury?! Such a shame. I lived in a two bedroom alone, when the tub in my master clogged up, i couldn't shower in there... again i called the office and Clay again answered and I was shocked at his response. He said and I quote, " don't you live in a two bedroom? Use the other shower" I went on to tell him that I don't have shower curtain in that bathroom and yet again his response was, "remove your shower curtain from the master shower and place it on the other shower to take a shower" I was shocked and this is what they call luxury?! I paid my rent days earlier before the 1st of every month because of my long hours of work and the one time I was late cause I had traveled I got charged over 100 hundred dollars in late fees and even got served with a notice! I was just waiting for my lease to end as I didn't want to break it. They require 60 days notice and was counting the days till I get the hell out of there. One word, stay away from this place. There are so many nicer places in Phoenix. This place is not worth the price of luxury it claims. I have never written a review about an apartment complex before and usually I have nothing negative to say about all the places i have lived. Avoid San Valiente by all means possible.
Even though it’s a duplex for naming purpose, not good place at all for security wise. So many thefts were happened and happening too. We can compromise everything in our life some extend except security. Due to poor security, it’s a tough place to live and no quick and proper action from management. Simply, we are paying duplex house rent with very poor security.
