So far from our experience living here we are not impressed at ALL. When I first checked out these apartments I was impressed by the remodeling job they had done being it's an older community that was built in the 70's. Since I was so impressed with the model they showed us we decided to sign a lease with them since the location was great, the commute was cut in half, and from what we had seen the remodeling was very promising... We receive the keys to our "Newly renovated unit" and immediately after walking in we noticed issues... 1) The entry wall next to the door was kicked in making it very difficult to close the door. 2) The paint work done looks like they had given rollers to a bunch of kids and let them go to town on the apartment. 3) There's no lighting in the living room, I mean honestly I could understand the secondary bedroom or even the master bedroom, but the living room? 4) Water damage on the ceiling in the bathroom 5) Busted water pipes so because of that the water bill is twice as much for all residents and the floor is warm from the hot water seeping under the foundation. 6) Upstairs floors are VERY thin you will hear every little footstep if you are on the first floor 7) We don't need it because we have our own units but the laundry facility they have on site, is out of order and apparently has been for quite some time. 8) BUGS! While they claim that the bugs we will see are dead, they are wrong! I can't tell you how many LIVE bugs I have seen in my unit since we moved into this place. 9) The maintenance guys are a joke and don't have a since sense of how to make proper repairs, instead of use proper length screws for the cabinets they use long screws where they will go straight through the cabinet. 10) They promised us the appliances were brand new, found out the fridge has a bad water leak and dented from the previous residents. Now that I've pointed out the main issues allow me to say this. The doors in the apartment are the old pressed wood doors. You can tell where part of the pressed wood has peeled off and they just paint over it. Here's my biggest issue with the management, they refuse to fix any of these issues EXCEPT the water leak. The refused to fix the kicked in wall by the front door so we could properly close it, they refused to either repaint the doors properly or just replace them so they all MATCH, they have said they would replace the fridge but we have yet to see that yet, they deny a bug issue, and lastly the water damage in the bathroom they just covered it up with silicone which has since then began peeling away. They do not care for their residents. OH!! Lastly, They will only allow AT&T/Direct TV on site, Charter says they have territory out here but the complex will not allow them on site. We are forced to use AT&T internet which is fine. However biggest issue is when we called Direct TV out the office told them they cannot attach a dish to our patio that it is "An eyesore" that they would have to put them on a stand, which Direct TV does not do. So what did that leave us with? UVerse. Starting to realize the commute was worth making everyday as opposed to living here. Avoid this place at all cost, trust me, the units are not near as nice as the model is.
the office employees are absolutely terrible. the ac is out and they pretty much told me without saying it to find a temporary place to go! unbelievable! do not live here they will let you and your children sweat you r ass off!
Horrible. Its like living in the projects of north richland hills.
