This has to be one of the worst places ive ever lived! Ever since they fired andrew its gone to crap! 1/2 the tennants dont speak english. One litrle brat & her brother think they own the placr. My daughter has been bullied repeatedly & manager well shes never there! Our neighbors have been dealibg with a mold nightmare. Our maintenance requests get ignored. Parking is a joke. NO ONE picks up their dogs crap except me & 1 other neighbors. I regret ever signing alease!!! The pool is dirty & hot tub too. They charge you $25 extra for covered parking & $100 for a garage. Learned from another Tennant that used to be assigned. I cant wait to buy a house! We miss andrew!!!
WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE My wife and I were searching for a new place in the Fishers Landing/Vancouver area since it was closer to work and family. We only had a few days before our current lease was up so finding a new apartment had to be a quick process. After visiting and applying to a few place around the area, we came to the Meadows at Cascade Park. My wife and I were given a tour an apartment; the place was nothing special, just a decent apartment. The problem wasn't with the actual apartment though; it was with trying to apply to see if we would be approved actually to move in. So after the tour we went into the office and started the applications and credit/background check. We were told in a day or so we would receive a call from them (office managers) about the status of our application. We made it clear to both managers that we would continue to look for another apartment since we were uncertain where we would be accepted. For the next four days, we kept calling and waited to hear from the Meadows about the status of our application. But they kept telling us they were still waiting for the background check. So we continued to look elsewhere and eventually fell in love with Eight Towncenter Apartments and were approved to move in the next day! A few more days passed, and as were moving, my wife received a phone call from the female manager, THREATENING my wife to pay the move out/cancellation fee of $200! Even though both Meadows and Eight Towncenter are BOTH managed by GREYSTAR. We never even knew we were accepted, and even though we chose a different apartment ran by the SAME property management company, we have been forced to pay this $200 moveout/cancellation penalty. It felt like I've been scammed. The whole problem just seemed crazy to me; it was like I was forced to move in or pay this penalty. How could I search for an apartment if every time I applied to a different complex, I were obliged to pay a cancellation fee for not moving in? After months of not hearing from the managers from the Meadows, I receive a email from a Greystar employee stating that if I do not pay, the fee with be sent to collections and my renters history will affected. I never lived at the Meadows! How is this even legal?! The managers never mentioned anything about a cancellation fee and knew I may choose a different apartment complex. We were under a timeline, we told them that we would be searching for other places, yet they charged me $200 just for applying. It was never taken off the market, they didn't lose any money. But still feel that it's okay to charge people $200 for a simple application. That all I did, I applied to see if I would be accepted to live at the Meadows. I also applied to other locations and was approved but choose a different place. They never charged me for a CANCELLATION/MOVE OUT fee.Read the reviews made by people who actually lived at the Meadows at Cascade Park, check yelp and other resources. Don't fall victim like I have. #Greystar #Meadowsatcascadepark
Do you love not having parking? Getting your car broken into? Do you live for the inconvenience of construction and repair early in the morning? Avid mold fan? Love stepping in dog shit? Then this is the place for you! Since having moved in this summer we have had many problems ranging from having one of our cars broken into and having the other one rear ended while it was parked at night, to our washer and dryers not washing or drying, mold, and constant maintenance issues. Yes, the majority of the maintenance issue were fixed, (and continue to be fixed as they spring up), but the apartments are cheaply built and not worth what you pay for. The walls are paper thin, so you have a pretty good idea of what your neighbors are up to. It's not all bad though, theres a vague sense of community as we all play "musical chairs" for parking spots every evening and you share a couple laughs with your neighbors when you both catch each other wandering the space around your balcony to try and get cell phone reception. We cannot wait till our lease is up and we can find someplace, any place else to live. Would NOT recommend!!!!
The apartment layout was nice, worked well. If you live here pray to God you never have to make a work order request, because whatever you have that is broken will stay that way for a very long time. Management is really bad super unorganized and not with it at all, seems like everything you try to becomes a giant hassle/ They can't even handle simple tasks. The pool is too small for the size of the complex and appliances need to be updated. wasted a year here...
When we first moved in we told them one of our kitchen lights was burnt out they never fixed it honestly we forgot about it until like 10 months later. The light that was burnt out had made a burn mark in the celling! We called and told them it was a fire hazard and needed to be attended to they painted over the burn they didn't re-wire or do anything other than cover the burn. So we stopped using the main kitchen light and used the small one above the sink for the remainder of our lease.
