The pool has been closed numerous times of us being here just since last month (June). First week here the ac broke. They "fixed" it and then it broke again 2 days later. It leaked into the water heater and that caused a small flame at midnight. (Yet emergency maintenance did not answer as I called until the third time). So they replaced the water heater the next day and had to bring a window ac unit that we had for about 5 days until they stopped putting band-aids on the ac and actually fixed it. The trash service comes on random days so you will never know when to set your trash out. While the maintenance people are friendly they pretty much come and go as they please and don't tell you when they plan to return to finish what they're doing. Which is a problem if you have dogs to be put up. That brings me to my last complaint. There are very few doggie areas to pick up after your pet. You have to walk far away from the large grass areas where you think they'd put the trash bags and bins for pet cleanup. Go somewhere else.
hi, I lived here for 13 months I really liked the area and the staff was so nice but when I moved I asked them was there anything I needed to do or did I owe anything before I left town, I was told that there was nothing owed, and all was cleared, well 4 months after I left I got a call from a collections agency saying that I had been turned over to them for a bad debt to the village, mind that I was never late on my rent when I left the apartment was in better shape than when I moved in ( I have pictures to prove it) and was told I was all cleared when I moved, I never got a letter or phone call or anything pertaining to this matter from the village, I called them wanting to talk to the manager and she wouldn't come to the phone and she will not call me back! the collections agency said it was for new carpet, the carpet was not new when I moved in and it was in good shape when I moved out, like I said the apartment was in better shape and cleaner than when I moved in!!! just wanting to let anyone that moves here to be careful they will try to mess up your credit for no reason when you leave, I really wish they would have contacted me about this instead of hiding behind my back and out of the blue I find something out about it from someone else!!!!!!!
I am so glad that my lease is up and that I'm getting out of this apartment. The staff is extremely nice when you are about to sign the lease, but the moment that lease is signed, you are forgotten! They never answer the phones either.The floor creaks when you walk and the walls are super thin, then you have people playing tennis at 6:40am!!. I definitely will not recommend this place to anyone.
Be advised this place is SURCHARGE CITY!!! They make YOU pay for pest control and it's a requirement to pay for valet trash service but that's not all!!! Electricity, though it has to be switched into your name before you can collect keys, is double billed to you PLUS there's a $10 fee for 'processing'. I really liked my apartment too but this is completely unethical. Get the facts before you even sign a lease or better yet, just don't. Other apartments will take you just the same.
I agree with sreekant, we had many issues with bugs. Then, after living there for 3 years and also referring many friends to live here over that time, they wanted to nitpick over charges after we moved out. When I asked for them to be somewhat forgiving, I was spoken too about that bugs and how "unclean and unwilling" to help with the bug issue I was and told nothing would be done. I will never rent from here again or refer anyone as well. I expect to be treated well after living somewhere for 3 years, and instead you would have thought that I was someone who had been evicted.
