I am appalled with how this company treats clients. When my property needed an emergency hot water tank replacement I was not notified of the situation until the bill was due. Numerous times I stated that I need to be notified of any and all situations. This was not followed. I called the company and was told if I wanted to know any details that I needed to call the contractor that THEY hired to do the job! That is the job of the property management to keep detailed records and inform its owners in a timely and respectful manner not mine! I do not pay a monthly fee so that I can pick up the phone and do the job myself. I was told that no one was able to reach me and that was a blatant lie as my voicemail and call log showed no valid numbers. When I called over three different contractors I found out that I was charged one third more than any of the other rates I was given even with the emergency situation included. I was even told that if I had more than one property I would be given a discounted rate. Yet this company can get no better rates for its clients?! Even worse the invoice had a flat rate no labour cost, no hot water tank price, no travel. When I called the contractor he didn't want to tell me the cost of the tank until finally I got it out of him, $500-$600 so the cost of labour for a 3 hour job is $1000??!!! When I called to speak to Ash the owner he immediately directed me over to his manager after very well knowing the escalation of the situation. After speaking to a manager all they were able to give was a $80 discount off, of a bill over $1700. Buyer beware. Do yourself a favor protect yourself and your property and look elsewhere!
I reached out to Remax Rental Advisors after a friend recommended that I get a management company to look after my property while being out of province. It’s only been a couple of months but the experience with them has been very positive. Right from the beginning, they were very responsive and patient as I asked a lot of “first time renter” questions about how they would handle my property. I wanted to turn key solution that included finding a good renter and ongoing management. They provided guidance on everything from the rental rate right to the making a recommendation on who they felt the best renter would be based on their experience. Very happy with my experience with them so far
As a tenant in a unit managed by Rental Advisors, I find them very disorganized. The lack of communication between the people within the same office is just amazing. I find them very thirsty for the money and I am sure they will try to squeeze something out of my deposit when I do the final walk through next week. I will update this review next week.
I generally do not right reviews but I do feel this company needs to be recognized for its professional and prompt service. My experience with Yaz Nazarali and another gentlemen by the name of Ash if I am not mistaken was extremely positive and professional. I needed a place after getting into a bind with a private owner that sold the place I was renting at the worst possible time. After a few days of searching for a property that I could move into immediately I came across their website and found a few properties of interest. I contacted them and explained my situation and only after a few days I was signing a lease to my condo. Now that's service.
I've been using Rental Advisors' services since 2009 and have had great results. We started out with one property and now have several properties being managed. There's very little work to do as Rental Advisors takes care of tenants, payments and service calls if you need. Rent deposits are received automatically in the bank, so there's not much work to do once you're in the program. Rates are very reasonable compared with other options and well worth the handling of potential headaches. Especially like the option of being as much, or as little involved with the management.
